So this part of the new Bioware blog is suspicious:

As I’m leaving, the comm specialist tells me I’ve got new messages. I
check my mail and read a thank-you from some civilians we rescued. I
also get a note from someone who wants me to come visit them on the
Citadel, as well as something from James saying he’d like to talk in
private. I file that away for later, then chat with the comm specialist,
a technical expert who doesn’t have much experience serving on the
front lines.  After making sure she’s doing all right, I’m ready to see
what’s happening on the rest of my ship.

Looks like we will have someone else in Kelly's role on the Normandy, because Kelly is not a technical expert, that leaves the question, will she be part of the crew at all? Argh!
But maybe she is still there as a counselor, in times like this my Shepard and her crew could use one and I would like to see more of that side of her. *fingers crossed*

^ Yeah, I have heard that name, but didn't know she was the comm specialist. The rumors about her VA already have me seeing her in kind of a positve light and I really want to like her, but apart from that I know almost nothing about her and I am trying to stay away from heavy spoilers, so I am not checkng out that link. But I am satisfied to hear, that Kelly can be taken to the Normandy. I don't mind a small spoiler like that, so thank you for that information.

Hey guys, just joined this forum. I can't find a thread for newcomers to introduce themselves, so I'd be grateful full of great if someone pointed me to the right direction, but Kelly...was nuts. Don't get me wrong, I like a crazy redhead, but Kelly was just...yeah.

Thanks, Mars after the escape from earth, then citadel to pick up Kelly now I know what to do in my first playthrough

^ I don't think it was anymore than dinner, would have been a bit too fast given the circumstances (military vessel) Besides, I doubt Kelly would have remembered the fish tank, if there had been more

^ i would not think so, with how fast you can get into the pants of the true LI: just talking to them gets them to the point where the person wants to get into bed with the commander.

The Dinner could have lead to something or could have just have lead to a innocent Kiss between the two and nothing more.

Personally I do think something happened between the two.
