Very well written character I would be disappointed if Bioware introduced her for nothing,she should be a romance option in ME 3

I mentioned this in another thread regarding romances, but I would like to share it with you all because I'm sure the feeling was mutual. Bioware has stated that if a character was important to your Shepard, then they would return. Kelly was by far the most important character to my Shepard and I believe she deserves to be treated as a full on LI. When Kelly was captured by the Collectors, it really added an emotional depth and drive for me/my Shepard. It made the choice to immediately travel through the Omega 4 Relay that much more important and emotional for me/my Shepard. I still find it hard to watch her get dragged into the elevator with those Collectors in the Joker mission ><

But, anyway, this shows that Kelly is important to both my Shepard and to myself, and I believe she should be treated with that same importance for all of us who love our Yeoman.

I'm rambling now, just thought I'd share

The reason she doesn't count is that Shep isn't the only one she gets with (if you even bother). Talk to Mordin for more than 5 minutes and you'll see just how promiscuous she is. She's basically a slightly less blatant version of Isabela from DA2.

Absolutely support this! Kelly was my LI, I don't care if she doesn't count for the romance achievement, she won my Shepard's heart. I want her to be in ME3 one way or another.

Not started my 'Shep/Kelly' playthrough yet, but as I've got other Sheps who consider her a friend, I whole heartedly support this topic and the hope that she will be back as crew/potential LI in ME3.

Personally I think it's a little non-epic for the saviour of the galaxy to be banging his secretary. And the ME1 LI conflict that will arise from it... I can see Liara being understanding if Shepard hooks up with Tali (with whom he's been through thick and thin over the years), or Jack or Miranda (gorgeous, revealingly-dressed, and risking lives together), but Kelly? "She fed my fish".

Criminy, Kelly's romance is by far the most realistically written and believable romance in ME2.  The others all pretty much have one dialogue where Shepard drops a flirt line where the other person basically raises an eyebrow, one conversation after that that boils down to "are you sure you want to romance me?", and then some random, cheesy scene in your cabin.

You can actually flirt, and consistently at that, with Kelly.  You can actually go on a date with her.  She shows express concern for your safety.  You bond.  You actually and realistically build a relationship with her.

Trying to define Kelly with "She fed my fish." is the equivalent of defining the other LI's with "They sat in a room on the Normandy."

And I don't see why a romance has to be "epic".  As if the savior of the galaxy can only fall in love with someone else who risks their life in a similar way...  As if a semi-normal relationship isn't a believable event...  You have to romance someone who dresses "revealingly" and fights on the front-lines with you?  Why?
You can't apply those kinds of rules to love, and a great many stories are written about the very same concept, IE: finding love across those situational, professional, or societal boundaries.

I absolutely love the idea of my Shepard finding love with a non-combat member of her crew.  Kelly is smart, sexy, and she doesn't fit into the established and over-used cliche of only being able to find love among your fellow "soldiers".

Mystranna Kelteel, I absolutely concur with your thoughts on the satisfaction from experiencing the blossoming relationship between Shepard and Kelly.

Over the course of the game Shepard needs to repeatedly express his/her interest to romance Kelly; this coupled with the fact that you save her life (as well as the rest of the Normandy’s crew) to me makes the experience epic and not the cheep fling some seem to imply.

Do you think we'd get a love triangle scene with Kelly and a ME 1 Love interest? Because I'd hate for her to automatically be canceled out by the prospect of one like she was in ME 2. At least it makes a little more sense in that game though.

Kelly was a nice touch to the game, but I doubt she'll return since the ship is being repoed by the Alliance. And I don't think the Alliance will take kindly to Cerberus operatives on the ship, including her.

Joker was with Alliance though, so I'm not so sure about Kelly (was she in the Alliance previously?)

But I'd like to have her back on the ship in ME3.

I don't think Kelly was in the Alliance, no. But if they bring back Joker who quit and joined a terrorist outfit just so he could fly then they shouldn't have any trouble accepting the Yeoman with a psych degree who really doesn't fit the Cerberus bill at all.

Also since we will have people like Garrus and Tali on board I don't see why Shepard wouldn't be able to bring on a freelance Yeoman.
