Ok derp, it looks like in my Kelly flashback project I had made the file only visible to me and people weren't able to download it. :pinched:

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up here, that the file is available for download to everyone now.

Just wanted to say, Zj, that's the best avatar of Kelly I've ever seen... in fact, it reminds me of another good Kelly fic.

Enjoy. :)

Lol, brohoof at the end, haha!

I took a look at the 'deserves a better ending' signature gif, and deleted the extraneous characters. You can take it from my sig.

Besides that, Kelly is the only one that actually gives you a postgame payoff if you went with her. After 2 games, Liara's romantic nothings in my ear were, "Thanks for stopping by"............... "money is on the dresser---

Watching it made me feel sad again though. :pinched: I hope Kelly got off the Citadel ...

Didn't Walters (or someone) say that some got off? There's a good chance that Kelly was among them since she was already at the docks and we know that Zaeed (who was also staying at the docks) made it to London.

Taken from Todays Q&A:

One of the things in the citadel codex is that anyplace -inside- the citadel has emergency seals, and some exterior areas have emergency seals that can keep atmosphere in. Even if the Citadel is destroyed (which it may or may not be in ending), "is not like the entire things blow up." People on (in) the arms may well still be alive. No reason to assume 100% casualtties.

Saw this on another forum and included a question relevant to Kelly that might give us a little hope. He stated that these are not offical Bioware statements so take them as just Weekes opinion at the moment.

An attendee of PAX East got a chance to interview Patrick Weekes, one of the
core writers of the ME series, a lot of questions about the game.

-Did anyone on the Citadel survive?

Yes. We would never, ever do
anything that made the player feel, on replay, that it would be better for
everyone on the Citadel if they just died. The Citadel has emergency shelters
and kinetic barriers - even if it blows up, millions might survive. :siren: You
should assume that everyone plot-important on the Citadel survived.
:siren:

-Is it better for Kelly Chambers if we talk her into
suicide?

No, see above.

Some suggests you had to have dinner with Kelly for her to appear in ME3.

That is true.  You needed to be close friends with her to give her the perspecitive and courage to leave Cerberus.

It makes you wonder...

...just what exactly happened in the Captain's Cabin that night?

I would love to see Kelly to have some Screentime in the Extended Cut Content. I just don't see that Happening. The LI Segment of the Extended Cut would focus on who BioWare Considers the "True Romances" of Mass Effect 3.

Well I wrote a letter for the love interest appreciation project for Kelly, and will be doing some art as well. :)

I'll post it all here when I'm done.

My final submission to the appreciation project. The forums resize it into a bit small than intended, so some of the detail is lost here, but you can right click on it and select view image if you like.

Whenever I see this scene I get super sad about how rough Kelly has it.  At the same time, wow she's the only one that actually had an EMOTIONAL response to what happened on the collector base.  Everyone else is like robot super heroes or something.

Yeah get kidnapped by creatures that are an amalgamation of several people molded together?  How does that not scar you? Everyone else is still joking about eezo core drives, playing poker, and sharing some brandy....

Actually, Dr. Chakwas is hiding her emotional reaction.  When Mordin is aboard she relocates to the crew quarters on Deck 3 and has a very emotional chat with Engineer Adams.  Basically, she starts off saying that she's over the abduction, but then ends up in tears.  But anyway, it still is surprising that Kelly's the only one honest about how the abduction damaged her.  Maybe it's a combo of her not being military and her having more empathy than the others.

Yes, I agree with you on that unfortunately. One can always dream, though, until we actually get to see her being hung out to dry ...

What puzzled me about Kelly's reaction was that at the end of ME2, she says that she's put the attack behind her. Suppression and a delayed reaction I could understand, but what she says in ME3 implies (or explicitly states -- can't remember her dialogue exactly) that she's been having the nightmares ever since the attack itself. I suppose it could be semantics and it is in fact a delayed reaction, or it could be that she was fine while still on the Normandy but having left can't bring herself to face it again.

Or it may be that I'm a bit too sad about not being able to take her along on the ship. :P

I'm a bit surprised this thread hasn't done one of these two things
1.shriveled up and died away
2.Exploded in fan outrage

I remember the stuff that was in the leaks for Kelly and it was so great, she told you how she started working for Cerberus and that TIM had wanted to slip her his his meat stick, and she didn't let him.
She also said something to the effect of how she had hated Batarians but working in the docks she's found that their no different than any one else, in fact right now they need help more than anyone else.

There was so much great Kelly that got cut, I thought this thread would have done one of those two
I'm glad it's still fighting on, and that the Kelly fans are still fighting, much of my time is being spent fighting for Samara, but I'm hoping to make my way back to spending more time here with my fellow Kelly fans along with the Jack, fans, and join the Samantha fans all are not huge giant areas that have 20 new pages each day.

Thanks for that post; I had heard there was some stuff cut but didn't know the shape of all of it. That sounded great and she could always have used more content than she ended up with ... Really, I'd be up for a bout of pro-Kelly fan rage (civil, intelligently-expressed fan rage of course) except that there are just so many things for people to be up in arms about, it would be a drop in the ocean.

I wish I still had my copies, sadly I went to my hard drive to dig them out many weeks back and they had been corrupted by some sort of bug/virus, and the links my buddy emailed me with the links to download them no longer work. "The requested files have been removed and/or were taken down due to copy righted ownership"

Yes there was so much great stuff in there from Kelly, also I seem to recall that Kasumi was on Thessia and you could stop it from falling, She played a huge role in preventing that, but that was scrapped and she was reduced to a lame cameo mission, I seem to recall Zaeed suffred a simalar fate aswell.

It sucks all my favorite LI's got the short end of things, Samara, Ashley, Kelly, and to a lesser degree Jack. All got really bad stuff and Ash's convo's brought the Zaeed/Kasumi style to an even lower level. Congrats on that one BW I didn't think it was possible to make the Zaeed/Kasumi style convos any worse, you proved me wrong Congrats.

Oh my redheaded, big eyes, Kelly I almost feel it would have been better if you had died and then you'd be on the Normandy with me forever, just like Jenkins, Kaidan, Mordin, Thane, Legion,  and Pressley, Kelly was turned into a zombie in ME3.

That's going a bit far... while I would have loved more Kelly in ME3, I don't want her killed off just because she doesn't get as much as Liara.

No worries on the old script, I'll just have to reconstruct things with imagination.
