I saw the latest pic, Shadow, and I loved it. If I recall, there's four in the series and I'm excited to see how it ends.
Actually, the series doesn't have a set number of pictures. I will continue it as long as I can get commission slots and afford to pay for them. I have a bunch of ideas that span quite some time, like years, after the game's ending. The first two pictures were maybe a week or two after the ending with the sunset one a week or so after that. So there is still plenty of time to explore their growing relationship and ideas that I can commission showing it.

To get her to just appear in ME 3, you need to have had dinner with her; I'm pretty sure you need her to have danced for you in order to be able to romance her though.

Dancing Part does not Matter, Just the Dinner Date. As long as you get a E-Mail from her after the Collector Base. The game will consider Kelly Romanced.
Here is a Video if your having Problems.

Well, since apparently a lot of people did survive the explosion of the citadel, I can imagine Kelly making a brief appearance. If lucky she will have a few lines, but don't expect too much. She was not treated so well like the other ME2 romances. She was more of a "Friends with benefit" than a real relationship.
All I really need to know is that she survived - I've already made up the rest on my own (as seen in my commission series). Even if she doesn't, if I don't download the EC, then it won't come up at the end of the game anways.
As for the relationship, it is all up to the individual to decide what occurs during it. My idea of their relationship will probably be very diferent than someone else's idea. Also, just cause less of the relationship is shown in the game does not make it any less of a substantial relationship than the others (including Liara's

Really? That's disappointing to hear.

That is disappointing, but at least they show that the Citadel survived, was largely intact and functioning, so more than likely Kelly survived. At least she wasn't shown being killed, confirmed as part of the dead, or something. The EC didn't mess up my head-canon, and as such doesn't mess with my picture series (except supposedly confirm that Shepard lived), so I'm fine with it.

I new she wouldn't be putting Sheps name in the board (As she isn't on the ship) But I at least I wanted to see her face at the end.
Well, at least it isn't Liara and Bioware isn't trying to force me into a romance. ( I think)

It doesn't look like much could have survived that. The EC was largely a step backwards, as it reduced the chance of Kelly actually surviving. Bioware shouldn't have made it.
All in all very unhappy. This is the crap that happens when bioware tries to pander to the majority.
I guess at least they didn't put her name on the wall, and she was once a crewman. Still, the EC gave no real closure, and also failed to live up to a Bioware statement on these boards that they wanted to give more focus on the LIs in it.
Every other LI got some additional screentime. Even Samara was showed in the epilogue.

Good to know, and good thing I had fixed that myself with my mod (for PC anyway).
Though I will now have to edit that thing to work properly, since by default it replaces the Liara flashback and with the flashbacks being very variable now, oi...
EDIT: Ok, please people, how the hell does the EC make it look like she died? Besides we already knew many people had escaped the Citadel, and as Shadowscythe85, since it doesn't contradict that theory, I for one am more than happy with it.

Basically... take a coin toss.
But really, I'm unhappy because every other love interest got extra screen time in the game. All the LIs on the Normandy got extra scenes just for the LI. From reading around, Jack and Samara got pictures in the Epilogue. Kelly was the only LI with nothing.
Couldn't we have got an epilogue slide at the least? I know we're a fairly small fanbase, but it really feels like we were just plain forgotten.

- Miranda has a few Epilogue Slides as well. Kelly is the only Romance Option who was not seen in the Ending.
- One of the Writers already confirmed Kelly Survived the Citadel.
Anyone on Twitter should ask someone at BioWare Why Kelly wasn't included in the Ending. We might get an answer why she wasn't included.

* If your romance was in your squad, you have a moment with them during the conduit run where you convince them to save themselves and get on board the Normandy.
* If your romance was on the Normandy (squad + Traynor or Cortez) and you got the 'Shepard lives' scene in Destroy, they will refuse to put your name on the memorial wall, believing you still to be alive, implying a reunion.
* If your romance was in ME2, including Thane, Samara, Jacob, Jack, Miranda, you see them in the epilogue slides.
* If your romance was Kelly... will a picture of a bombed-out Citadel suffice?
Are others not annoyed that Kelly was the only forgotten romance?
I do realize that Patrick Weekes confirmed Kelly to be alive, but the thing is after the EC we shouldn't have to rely on unofficial interviews for details when one of Bioware's stated goals with the EC was emotional closure. And one of the Bioware staff stated this included the romance options, hence why they were a focus of the EC.
Here's a quote by Bioware staff member Tully Auckland. All of their points are answered in the negative for Kelly.

One of the goals for the Extended
Cut, as part of addressing player feedback, was to provide more time
with the love interest, and more opportunity for players to say goodbye
to them and provide additional moments of connection between them. We
did this in several ways:
- Shepard can now actually say goodbye to the love interest when they are split up at the conduit run.
- When
Shepard sees flashbacks of important characters during the final
decision, the flashbacks are now variable based on your playthrough – so
your love interest can appear as one of the flashbacks, providing
another moment of reflection between Shepard and that character.- A
memorial scene was added, partly to show a close bond between Shepard
and the love interest. The scene is variable, and if Shepard has a love
interest in a given playthrough, it will be that character who places
Shepard’s name on the memorial wall.- You may notice that in
the “Shepard lives” ending, the love interest hesitates to place
Shepard’s name on the wall, and instead looks up as though deep in
thought. This is meant to suggest that the love interest is not ready
to believe Shepard is dead, and the final scene reveals they are
correct. As the Normandy lifts off, there is hope that the love
interest and Shepard will again be together.
