She's more of a romance than the other people imo, as she has a lot more actual romantic relationship building, and, no, 'fighting together on missions' is not romantic relationship building. And I don't care if Hudson did say "she's not necessarily a romance"; he also said Liara and femShep was not a same-sex relationship and that asari aren't female.

My Shep and Kelly are clearly in a romantic relationship at the end of ME2. The only question is whether or not the devs will acknowledge it properly and let it continue, which they should.

You have me wondering if BW goes and flags Kelly as a romance after all...my Shep always flirted with her as he is romance free...but now just to be on the safe side....I don't see why she doesn't count as a romance....my canon Shep remains very professional with Kelly...still crossing fingers for Kasumi...I do hope you get what you want Mystranna....fingers crossed for you too.

I thought this has already been confirmed. What you did with Kelly will be carried over into ME3.

There is a flag for Kelly's romance; we just don't know if they'll actually use it for anything in ME3, or, if they do use it, if they use it for more than a simple change of one or two lines of dialogue in her "cameo".

I really liked Kelly in ME2. She didn't fight by my Shep's side but she did truly worry for Shep while s/he(yes, both. she's just that amazing) was out merc and collector hunting. I'm really hoping she comes back with a true romance and romance scene(a few new dance moves wouldn't hurt either). Plus, why be bothered with 40 second loading screens to feed my fish when I can have my favorite Yeoman do it? Fish cost credits dangit!!

That would almost make sense if there wasn't a veritable crap-ton of flirting with her that had to be done in order for the romance or stripping to trigger...

So, more accurately, it would be a "you just dumped your girlfriend and spent the last few weeks/months flirting with me so let me express my feelings for you now that we have a chance to do so" kind of situation.

Just in to show a little support for Kelly =) I never romanced her but she has always been a really good friend on the Normandy. Hoping to see her again in ME3 and that those who romanced her get recognition for that.

And Tali's was better in regards to what? The moment she arrived on the Normandy, she started talking about linking suits and immune boosters. Real classy.
And the fact that she doesn't even try to find out, if Shepard really moved on from his ME1 LI doesn't make it classier. Kelly at least asks you about that.

Kelly is, without a doubt, the best romantic option available in either game. It would be a travesty if we couldn't continue this romance.

This thread needs reviving.

I made a new Shepard just to romance Kelly. She's the most normal character in the game imo. She went to college, she actually goes on a date with Shepard, she's not a genetically modified weapon/biotic/technical super soldier/assassin/Justicar, and you need to constantly put in an effort to flirt with her. Also, everyone says Jack has the most beautiful face, but I think Kelly's is better. She can't replace Liara as my favorite LI, but she's easily better than all the others.

Ooh, I fully support this and this has to happen. Kelly is one of the best characters in ME2 and I loved her romance a lot and I really want to see that romance continuing in ME3.

So, yes, we definitely need this happen. Kelly is worth it.

Kelly is the true hero of Mass Effect, she saved my fish from starving to death. And that says something about a person. Saving poor defenseless fish from starvation while the galaxy is in mortal peril. Hats off to you Ms. Chambers, well done.

Seriously, as irritating as her "You've got mail" line was, I still actually liked her. Plus 1 to the Kelly in ME3, but only if it's the same voice actress. (can't risk that line becoming more irritating with an unpleasant voice).
