My top is Miranda because she had everything i wanted, good personality, funny, beautiful, great backstory, very loyal and didnt have a poetry fettish.

Looks, personality and lack of poetry probably put her above Ashley, who many of my shepards also romanced.

Liara, because I felt if she was a real person and not a fake character in a video game she would understand my issues and my thoughts, and would help solve my problems.

Liara, because she goes through hell for Shepard. Sure i fooled around with Miranda a couple times but at the end Liara is the only girl for my Shepard

Jack, I think she hands down had the best romance subplot in the game. The whole breaking through the shell thing was great, as opposed to everyone else who just presents, the moment Shepard walks in the room lol. The only other person who was close is Tali and that's only because it happened over two games, if she were only in ME2 she wouldn't be close either. This is how I would rank them from best to worst

Liara on one play through. Tali in another. My very first one however, will be a love triangle between Liara and Tali. I'm wondering how that will play out

Jack. She's the character with the most potential for an interesting character arc, and has had the best so far. Plus, she's the prettiest.

My second playthrough will probably be Liara. She was pretty Mary Sue in Mass Effect 1, but I grew fond of her in LotSB.

Kelly. Well written character, no real emotional attachment, and simple and fun. Pretty much 'friends with benefits' and that's exactly what my canon Shep wants.

Kaiden and Garrus for two different shepards. I'm making a maleshep just so i can do the s/s relationship in ME3.

 My canon femShep is currently romancing Thane, so if he doesn't die from his illness she'll stay with him. Will probably have her romance Vega - considering he's an option - on a second playthrough or something.
My alternate femShep isn't romancing anyone. Saving her for a romance with Joker. Hopefully.

Paragon Adept (main) - Ashley (stayed faithful)
Renegade Infiltrator - Ashley in ME1, went with Miranda in ME2
Paragon Sentinel - Ashley in ME1, went with Tali in ME2

So yeah I don't really care for Liara much and I just found Ashley to be really cool.

Ill pick Ashley in the main file since I stayed faithful and try Miranda/Tali in the other 2 files.

Ferret Shepard: Garrus. Waited for him throughout ME1, not even knowing he was romancable in ME2. Always wanted someone of equal caliber and fire to be at her back, and Garrus had. Bore it through to the end with Saren, and helped bring down that larva Reaper and pulled her back up when she was on the brink. Will remain loyal to her Turian.

John Shepard: Tali. Despite being a Soldier, John completely loves Tali for her sweet nature and intelligence. Finds her attitude refreshing and enjoys the fact that she can be adorable but be perfectly capable of shooting a Krogan in the face. Will remain loyal to her, so watch it Legion.

Renegade Aneska Shepard: Liara. Initially romanced Liara just out of curiosity and wanted to toy about with the 'naive sweet scientist' but grew to like her a bit during the chase of Saren and find her attitude slightly endearing. After the action in ME2, Aneska whole heartedly loves this Paragade fighter Liara has evolved into.

Dean Shepard: FOREVER ALONE. Seriously, give my Shep some m/m love. :/ He's getting depressed.

Margo Shepard: Has no interest in romance at the moment and was completely confused when Kaiden tried to hit on her. Has a habit of appearing interested simply due to the fact she enjoys talking with her crew. May be inclined to romance Joker, mostly because he isn't afraid to get snarky towards her.

My canon Shep is with Liara. I think its because I just preferred the character over Ashley anyway. I prefer a woman with brains in reality and I think that just carried over.

I find Miranda's character/story/synergy with Shepard the most appealing. Ashley is really awesome too. I love her romance so much, especially some of the renegade lines in it. I think she is an underrated character. For the record I think Ashley has a better in game romances than Miranda.

If you say "no" the romance doesn't end.

She sounds more "turned on" when you turn her down than if you accept her. I actually prefer it. (JMO)
