It was Liara(faithful) in ME2
And it is most definitely going to be Liara in ME3, why? Because she is very beautiful, smart, and awesome!

Was with Ash in me1, loved the combination of toughness and femininity she has. And then Horizon happened. As far as he's concerned, Ash's inability to trust him enough to even wait for an explanation from him or Garrus killed that one leader than Sovereign.

I liked that she and Shepard didn't always agree. My Shep even had a couple arguments with her. She sticks to her guns. I like that.
My Shep stuck with her through ME2 mainly because I play him as a guy who doesn't really do relationships unless its something really special and none of the other ladies in ME2 really grabbed his attention. He wasn't thinking of it. He had a job to do. That and he's kinda hung up and broody over Ash and her cold dismissal of him on Horizon (which he totally understands but is still hurt by).

After the events of Horizon however, Thomas was very dissapointed with Ash's behavior. He expected so much more of her, and seeing how easy it was to simply turn around and walk away for her, it was that much easier for Shepard to finally let the past be the past. He still respects her as a soldier though.
Then, after a while he started spending more time at the Engineering, talking with Tali. Considering they were pretty good friends back when they were chasing Saren, it was a matter of time before they'd take things further.
I really like how shy and friendly she is, but still very strong and sometimes even ruthless.
Unless Bioware plans to pull a "Horizon" again, i'm planning to stay with Tali.

Being a female as well as being in the military irl, I based all of my Shep’s actions on how I would react in a situation both personably mixed with appropriate military reaction. Although I play a female Shep, I could never see myself starting a relationship with either Kaiden or Ashley in ME1. Most of this is due to the fact as a commanding officer it would not be appropriate or professional to be involved romantically with my military peers on the same mission. Officers should not be involved with NCOs, so I would pass on Ash if I played a male. I passed on Kaiden due to the reason stated above and he being a subordinate. Liara intrigued me very much so but I wasn’t comfortable with the idea of being with an Asari. To be totally honest, I was very attracted to her and may try a romance with her in a second play through. For my first and main play through I remained single.
Imported into ME2 I knew Jacob would be an instant no. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the role his character holds and I do like him but I couldn’t romance a member of Cerberus. Thane intrigued me through his dialog. I think he is a pretty neat character. Then he did the thing with his eyes which creeps me out. After he explained it, it wasn’t so weird but those first few times I thought he had some serious PSTD or something… Thane is awesome, I enjoy his character full heartily and will probably tear up irl if he passes away in the 3rd game. The reason for me maintaining a friendship with Thane is because of his prior life. He is a widower with a son. My perception of Thane is that he would benefit more from my friendship than an intimate partnership. I respect his past and wouldn’t want to encroach upon that or give him doubt.
So now we get to the G-man himself, Garrus. I like the depth the character has and seeing the change he has gone through from ME1 to ME2 makes me feel responsible. When on his loyalty mission on choosing to kill Sidonis or let him live, he says something along the lines that “this justice is what you taught me”. It made me think about the first game when I went with him to kill that doctor on the ship. I didn’t want Garrus to think that ultimate unforgiving justice was the way to go. I wanted to pull him up from the darkness he was heading in so he wouldn’t have to make the same choices that my Shep had to up to this point. Garrus’ character has always attracted me. His voice, personality, way on the battlefield and leadership traits are all very intriguing qualities to me. I wish romancing him in ME2 wasn’t so “lets release stress” at first. Garrus has that comrade in arms feel to me. A friendship that becomes something more. When he says, “You don’t ever have to worry about making me uncomfortable. Nervous… yes, but never uncomfortable” is the sweetest thing any guy in the ME universe can say. ヽ(´ー`)ノ

Me and Ash will carve a path of destruction.
Lol, same!
Ash gave me some good laughs in ME1. I'm glad she's back....IN FORCE! For ME3.
My Shep has stuck with her throughout the whole series. It aint gonna change.
Ash is the realist.

Virgine Sheppard (Rengade):Was single in ME1, Jacob in ME2, but I don't see her having the typical couple relationship, moreover, Jacob is too "Jacob" for her, I'll see which are the chances on M3
Sam Sheppard (Paragrade on ME1, Renegon on ME2): Liara in ME1, Miranda in ME3, haven't decided yet but I think he'll end screwing everything and left alone.

JD Liara poor Thane but JD is a renegade and a Horndog She'll apologize and hopefully Liara will forgive her.
Killian- Garrus after Kaiden's about face on Horizon Garrus picked her up when she was down Garrus all the way
T.K. Kaiden
Mia- Thane She took her own death very badly and isn't even sure if she has a soul anymore and when she killed all those Batarians she's really messed up but Thane is her rock.
All bets are off the table if Femshep can romance Jack

Canon Femshep: Liara, well built romance femshep and Liara make a good couple
Alt Manshep: Miranda, Both are great leaders Shepard manages to get to the human being inside that cold hearted Cerberus uniform
Alt Femshep: Thane, imo is the most dramtic romance out of all the LI options in the entire series the romance sceen before the SM was well done

Wow you pretty much summed it up how it went with me when I imported my Shepard from ME to ME2. Except my Shepard was starting a relationship with Miranda, but that was just to get laid, it didn't really mean anything. But then Tali came along, my original ME crush but whom I sadly could not romance, and confessed her feelingsMegaTommy wrote...
