Ohboy... twenty four Shepards to do this with... headaches aplenty.

My two canon Sheps though, that's already in stone. My Gal-Shep is sticking by Liara all the way. And my Guy-Shep is sticking by Jack... Ash who?

And depending on who they open up as same-sex romances, I'll have to do this all over again...

As for why... Liara is developing into a lot more interesting character as the games progress, so I'm interested in seeing what kind of woman she becomes in ME3. As for Jack... she deserves someone to love her.

Through ME 1, I romanced both Ashley and Liara just to see how it would play out in ME 2. To go a little deeper, Ashley was romanced because there were things that she said that I as a Real person could relate to. She has faith, family orientated, and a fighter. Liara was romanced because she had a kind heart and wisdom.

In ME 2, I took Jack's advice...Hey why the **** not?! But seriously, when I first bought ME 2 I didn't even transfer my first save because I wanted a feel for the game. So I romanced everyone "all female" just to see what they offered in terms of emotional dialogue. Jack's tears took my by surprise. When Tali started talking about things from ME 1, I was floored and shocked. Bioware built up so much emotion for her character that it was over flowing and Liz Stroka captured the voice perfectly. Miranda was more like a conquest in the beginning because I couldn't see past the coldness that she exhibited but after her loyalty I understood why she was the way she was. I did the Kelly thing once and that was the only one that really had no bearing of emotion. It could have been that she was just happy to be rescued but I have to wonder what made her pack the lingerie on a suicide mission? Lol. She was going to be a freak with or without Shep.

Now during my save transfer, I stayed faithful to Liara and the build up at the end of LotSB was a great continuation of the romance even though Liara could have been written just a wee bit better whenever I visited the SB base. Got tired of hearing "Shep I'm so glad you're here." Staying faithful to Ash pissed me off on Horizon. I understand being upset about who I was with but completely disregarding my character with a simple hug and accusations without listening to what I was trying to say bothered me that Bioware didn't add enough to that moment but the email was alright.

I would like to continue on with the romance with Liara. But I would also like it if Kelly Chambers returns. Then there's the Asari commando that was being controlled by the Thorian, I was kind of disappointed in the second game when she just had a cameo.

Don't get me started on Tali, I want to be able to see her face. And some people may be mad at it, but it would be nice if she could be an option for a female Shepard as well.  The same could be said for Jack, she seemed like she wouldn't mind going both ways.

Finally, there's Morinth, I would like it if somehow Shepard can not be affected by her mind melting abilities. Like having a high Renegade score.

Miranda Lawson.

1 - her looks, obviously. Not gonna lie.
2 - the change in personality and how she grew on me as the game developed and after the loyalty mission. Ar first I hated her, then I wanted to romance her. "Flawed" strong characters have an appeal to me.
3 - the flirtation and the romance itself, I thought it was well done.
4 - her usefulness in battle

Second place comes Liara, then Tali, then Ashley.

My canon Shepard's LI is Tali. I don't know why, but their story always felt right to me.

In ME1 she was just a young girl who couldn't express her feelings, but in ME2 when certain death was in front of them, they both acknowledged it. I like those types of love stories.

I have six Shepards, and they each have a specific LI path, though some don't have specific LIs for ME3. I have a male and a female Shepard who are both sticking with Liara, a female who will probably stick with Kaidan (or eschew romance), and a male who will explore the new s/s option. My two Renegade characters are the biggest question mark, one is a ladies' man who has romanced Ashley and Jack so far, and he may choose to stay with one of them, or continue on with his womanizing ways. The other is my psycho Soldier, who romanced Kaidan and Jacob, but not because she had "feelings" for them, so she'll probably move on to someone new, or stick with Kaidan if he's "badass" enough in ME3.

Liara. She's by far the LI most devoted to Shep, and has been the one character in the series to show the most growth. It will be interesting to see her character develop further in ME3.
