Miranda. There is no one like her. The reasons are available in the OP of the ME2 Miranda thread. Mainly, she's the only one with the potential to be Shepard's equal, someone who complements him and is on the same level. Shepard alone is a force of nature, but Shepard and Miranda - the whole galaxy couldn't stand against them.

For one of my Shepards Ashley might be some competition, but in the end I suspect Miranda will win out even in that playthrough.

Garrus. He trusted me for years, he was always by my side, giving me his opinion, but supporting me every time. We started as squadmates and friends, sharing missions, confidences and concerns. We were lovers because we could, there's trust and respect between us. After all these years together, we started a natural relationship.

I think there's no other romance in ME like this one.

My femSheps go with Thane. I have a few who had romance with Kaiden in ME1, but I consider Thane to be a more compelling character, so they all end up with him in the end. I don't think any will be 'moving on' in ME3 either.

If I ever get my maleShep to finish ME1, he'll be with Jack. I absolutely loved her character on my runs with femShep, it's a pity there is so little exposure on her non-LI interaction.

Ashley, Miranda, Kaidan, and Jacob. They're just amazing with Shepard, especially Jacb since he's the only LI to say "I love you" to Shepard and the Only LI that let's her vent during the events of ME2.

Only femshep - I've got one loyal to Kaiden, the rest all romanced Thane (some were 'cheating' on Kaiden, some were not).

I find Thane to be the most compelling LI.

ashley all the way, did a couple of runs in ME2 where i went with miranda(deleted all those), but with learning via the shadow broker dlc that miranda can't have kids and the fact that ashley in ME3 looks hot as hell i decided on my final run of ME2 to stay loyal to ashley cause the fanfic story for my shepard is that after kicking the reapers in the quad he retires with ashley back to his home colony of mindoir where they marry and raise a small family of two kids, a robot dog and a space hamster

My main male shep is Liara and Miranda. Haven't decided between them yet.

My female shep is Kaidan and Thane, but Thane died on the way to the suicide mission, so I don't think THAT romance is going to continue. Wondering whether I'd still get a reward for being loyal to Kaidan though.

And if it mean's seeing Tali's face, I'll romance her too.

Jack. I'll get severely disappointed if I don't get the chance to keep things afloat with her. She's the only one of the LI's that really grabbed my attention (and could keep it).

Miranda cause she's sexy as hell and once you invest some time to get to know her you realize that just like ashley she is not a ****. Also she is very useful as a squat mate because of her biotic abilities and last but not least cause she is also a good leader, so if anything were to happen to my shep she could take the lead.

Liara, simply the sweetest and best character made. Great dialouge with her, and personality depth compared to other characters. The only other one that would be a possibility would be Tali.

NO:
Ashley- in ME1 she was a little manly, but also she's a racist and into religion
Miranda- TOO many daddy and body issues, I dealt with enough of girls like that in school
Samara- can't romance, what a shame too, a little cold, but wouldn't you be after hundred years of pain
Jack- just gross, I'm not into girls that look like 12 year old boys and act like it

Kaidan for my femshep. He's human, he's male, he's got a nice personality and good looks, and has known my Shepard from the start.
I do like Garrus too because he has trusted my femshep so much, but I'm not big on sex with aliens.


For a male Shep I would probably go for Liara, I think she is sweet and nice. I also like Ash.
Almost never play as male Shep though.

For Garrus I see it as being best friends that evolves into a relationship while with Tali I see being her rock as well as Shepards.  I have a hard time articulating why I'm drawn to these two more than the others but in my head it makes sense.

For femshep 9 times out of 10 I'll be sticking with Liara(Only play femshep, loyal in ME2 to the point where paramour is the only achieve I don't have.) on any of my imported playthroughs.

I will make fresh shepards for any new female LI(Ashley or Tali hopefully.)
