My main Shep will stick with Ashley. Because I like tough ladies. I'm playing through ME1 again, and being reminded that she's a pretty great character. Also reminded how much I like loot.

Liara. She was the only alien I could romance in ME1, and it didn't feel right playing the game and romancing a human. Then I suffered through ME2 without another LI so that I could be with her again in ME3. Worth it, because now she's the shadow broker.

I've made a single femShep for the hope that Joker will be an LI.

Failing that I will just stick to my femShep that's with Liara.

(If Jack or Ash are able for S/S then I may have to create new Sheps for them, too...)

Garrus is my canon Shep's LI, because he's my favorite character, I wanted to romance him in ME1, he's the person my Shepard trusts the most and on top of that, his romance is super funny. My canon Shep was single through ME1 because she wasn't interested in Kaidan or Liara.

I have three complete playthroughs:

1) Paragon femshep infiltrator --> Thane (canon).  Thane's got a great voice, great story, remembers her birthday, holds hands across the table, grabs her ass off camera, and there's that gooey romantic music plays at random moments in the conversation.  It's fate.  (Kasumi also said he blinks a lot when he talks about femshep.  Score!)

2) Paragrade femshep soldier --> Garrus.  Garrus has a great voice, great story, similar backgrounds (military/specter-ish, squadleader), he's got your back, and he's got reach.  Really long reach.  Impressive, actually.

3) Renegade maleshep vanguard --> Jack.  Jack is badass and fun.  She leaps ontop of tables, drives Taurian warships into Hanar moons, and has an amazing face.  She also dislikes Miranda, so maleshep and she have that much in common.

Unless there is an amazing new Love Interest in three (and these guys are unavailable), I'm sticking with Thane/Garrus/ and Jack.

Definately Miranda. I have done most of my playthroughs as a Renegade, Cerberus Loyalist, choosing Miranda.

After that its a tie between Ash and Liara. Liara definately seems more interesting so far, but i have a feeling that is just born out of the lack of screentime Ash/Kaidan received in ME2. So I have high hopes that Bioware will redeem themselves and make up for it in ME3

Dont really feel as much for Tali or Jack. They are awesome characters and i definately enjoyed their romance arcs, but... Just not my types as much perhaps?

After that, male characters. It is just easier to relate to female, straight romances when you yourself is male and straight.
Not that I have anything against either gay sheps or playing a female shep with appropriate romance. Choices and variety is good for all But i prefer to really get in character, I guess

Well, it's going to depend on the playthrough because I have a number of Shepards. I'll probably have files with Liara, Tali, Ashley, and Kelly to see how the story plays out.

However, my favorite Shepard file will be Miranda. She remains one of my favorite characters because of her complexity and the skill with which Yvonne Strahovski acts the role. I enjoyed watching Miranda change as she first trusted then fell in love with Shepard and am eager to see how that plays out as the Reapers invade.

I have a Shepard for everyone except Tali and Garrus. I just can't see them as anything other than my best friends who blow up things with me.

Most of my Shepards are Female and have romanced Kaidan, but I do have one for Liara, Jacob and Thane.

Male Shepard has also romanced Liara, Ash and Miranda though I didn't care for that one so redid it with Jack and found that one rather sweet. I liked Miranda as a friend but the romance wasn't my style.

Poor Kelly gets dinner so she will feed my fish.

I have a save game for every single romance interest. (Excluding Kelly, although I could use one of the save games where I stayed faithful to Ashley/Kaidan easily enough.) My undisputed favourite is Tali, however.

Still juggling between Ashley and Liara. Despite Ashley's bits that didn't exactly float my boat she still manage to interest me. Liara unfortunately felt like a little sister along with Tali. I'm much more interested in Liara in ME2 (Tali still feels like a sister) and less interested in Ashley but I'll just blame that on the writing.

Right now it's Ashley but if Bioware fails to make up for ME2 while still improving Liara's character then it seems I'm gonna have to do another ME1-ME3 playthrough.

Why do you have 5 different Sheps? Why not just have one with more than 1 playthrough, like I'm doing?
