It would certainly be interesting to see some more yahg be they huskified or fighting on your side. Despite the issues they've had in the past with Council races, i think it would be fantastic to see some and given that their future is on the line as well.
What other races do you want to see in ME3?
Vorcha?
Raloi?
The virtual aliens?
More active volus and elcor?
Will the yahg play a role in ME3?

I just want some NPC's so they races seem less like some background statues and random enemies like the Vorcha were in ME2.

I really don't think they will play a role at all

Can't see the Yahg playing a role. there's enough plot strands to tie up without introducing new ones. More active elcor or volus would be nice though.

They may put in a sequence at the end if you defeat the reapers, where all of the races are seen together......
kinda like the "Luke, you just destroyed the death start...how do you feel scenario"......
Shepard comes stepping off the Normandy, and all the races come running to him to slap on the butt and tell him good job!

wernt the yahg a highly violent race secluded to their planet because they couldnt be dealt with or something?

An entertaining thought. Perhaps a DLC that takes you to the Yahg planet to get that awesome shielding from LotSB? That would be a cool little side quest. But I have to say, if the Yahg is a possibility then my Cain needs to make a reappearance.

Yahg + Krogan = everyone else dies..
The problem is what will happen after everyone else dies.

I don't think the Yahg are going to make an appearance. They don't care about the rest of the galaxy and they aren't advanced enough for the Reapers to attack.

They are, but the last time I've checked the Reapers don't give a damn about Council regulations.
I want yahg husks aswell, we need more "oh crap!" enemies like the Praetorians.

I think we'll either see them as husks or as random enemy's like the Vorcha. A small part of me wants them on our side but it'd be hard.

A role doesn't have to mean a major role. Doesn't have to be a squad member. It could even be for some cutscenes only. The point being that they've already got a yagh model that can be optimized if they chose to and they were an interesting and welcome addition to ME in my mind.
That they're currently banned to their own world doesn't mean that the rules don't change in intergalactic war where allies are a necessity. Also, Reapers don't play by Council rules. Spectres don't all the time, either.
And though it would be hilarious if Conrad Verner ended up saving Shepard w/ a sqaud of them after accidentally besting a yagh alpha, I'm not necesarily proposing something as far-fetched or gimmicky.
Not to mention that Bioware only needs to be concerned with wrapping up plot threads directly related to Shepard's part in the trilogy. If they intend to take the IP beyond this into other areas they can resolve them there... or in DLC.

Yes. Shepard will run up and kick the Reapers in all their nuts at once. Eight legs = four sets of Reaper-nuts. After the kick, the Reapers will go "yagh" and die.

After going through the LotSB I'm not sure sure I want to fight another Yahg, and even more so a huskified one, if they are included I would prefer they were either on our side or just a cameo, maybe as a bodyguard for someone. Yea I know sounds wimpy but good grief its a Yahg for Christs sake, I would rather fight an army of Vorcha than fight another Yahg.

I think the Yagh was just a cool LotSB feature. I don't have anything against talking to more than Asari and humans all the time. Recently I started playing ME1 again, and figured out how much I missed talking to the Elcor and Hanar in ME2.
I demand more complex hub worlds in ME3. At least the size of the ME1 Citadel, and some classic RPG side quests, which involve speaking with different species.
Really guys, I want some Elcors in ME3

Hmm, isn't there quite few of them? So I don't really think they have an importance

No they're basically grounded to their homeworld well that's what we've heard heck in ME3 they just might well have made it off their world.
