Mmmhmm althought Ali Hillis/Liara and Hale/Shep sound pretty steamy together on and off screen too.

Oh, yes! They are the queens of steam. : p I think they have so much chemistry together. I hope for more in ME3.
You know what I love most though is Jennifer Hale's laugh. Just throws her head back and has a full-throated laugh, nothing demure or giggly( though that can be nice occasionally) just honest, unconstrained amusement and laughter!.

Yes, they did made it clear Kaidan likes women and Ashley likes men, but they didn't at any point insinuated they don't like their own gender too. For bisexual characters (and people IRL), interest in one gender does not erase the interest for the other gender. And they were considered to be s/s LI in ME1, the only reason it didn't happen was that they didn't have time to create worthy s/s romances with them and they didn't want to half-ass it by copy+pasting the lines from opposite-sex romances that didn't work well in s/s context. So having Ash and Kaidan be bi does justice to their characters.TOBY FLENDERSON wrote...

Yes! I think DA2 is the Bioware game that better handled characters interactions / romance, which includes comments even from other NPCs. I laughed hard when uncle Gamlen said: "So, you're into elves, huh? I guess I don't have to ask which one of you's the girl." when manHawke romances Fenris. I think ME3 team can learn a lot from DA2 in this aspect.KawaiiKatie wrote...

I do think that if the s/s LIs are bisexual, there should be a different feel for the two versions of the romance, and that the LI should make references to Shepard's gender. I would much rather hear the LI say "You're a beautiful man, Shepard" than "You're beautiful, Shepard".
That is exactly what I mean! Recognition of Shepard's gender in his/her relationships... yes please! That was one of the things that I felt Dragon Age 2 did right--the interactions between party members. Even when it was just something as small as Anders saying, "I love him" (versus "I love her") to Fenris, or Varrics, "Did he sweep you off your feet? I assume he did the sweeping... He's taller than you, would've been awkward otherwise..." I absolutely loved it when the game acknowleged that I was in a same-sex relationship. It just made my game feel so much more personal, and I built a deeper connection to the game and its characters because of it.

I don't really get the outrage over Bioware "suddenly springing" same-sex relationships on us now. Maybe my gaydar needs recalibration, but when FemShep talks to Ashley on the Normandy in ME1, I definitely detect flirtyness.
This. So this.
I think Hale and Brooks sound steamy together.

Just FYI there are actually three separate accounts from three separate persons at Bioware. One says it was always intended but cut due to constraints. Another said they were never intended, just a product of having Hale/Meer sharing the same script. The third said it was because of sharing the same script but that they did consider making s/s romances as well.
Yeah it's all kinds of screwy/loopy. Either way it doesn't matter, we are getting s/s romances in ME3!

Nah, Zaeed calls Jessie "her" all the time, and makes other references to her "gender" that would be censored on these forums.
I can totally see Zaeed with a "I don't care what you are, let's f***" attitude, and if he became a bisexual love-interest in ME3, no way I'd turn my nose up at his... delicious offer.

Err no. Time was only an issue in the first one.
1.) Time/Resources.
2.) Never intended, never considered.
3.) Never intended, considered after the fact, no definite reason given for not including.

No, the sharing-scripts account also talked how they would have to create new cutscenes for s/s romances and rewrite dialogues that didn't fit/make sense after copy pasting lines from opposite-sex romances which means time issuesmakenzieshepard wrote...

Personally, I want a guy who could care less about female Shepard and I would like a new female romance who doesn't want to jump male Shepard's bones.
I want them to have a sense of humor, a bit dry or sarcastic I like both. And I'd like them to have a good backstory, be interesting to the point my female Shepard might wish she could bed him, but knows she can't and my male Shepard knows he's the only one this funny, cool guy is interested in.
But if they insist on bringing in someone bisexual I still want new characters who have an interesting back story and who will give me something new to discover. You asked, I answered. This is what I'd like to have in ME3.

Oh man, I forgot that all of Zaeed's stories end with "and I was the only one who survived!" ....perhaps it would be ill-advised for my gayShep to jump into bed with him, not in the middle of a Reaper invasion....
......PFFFFT, JUST KIDDING. I COULDN'T EVEN SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE.
Nah, I'd trust Zaeed to pull Shepard through and make sure that they both arrive it safely across the finish line. ...if you know what I mean.

I hope they don't automatically make a character "Bi". It'd be strange..Atleast past-romances,they should make Vega SS romance, And A new female on the normandy SS,Likely ashley.
