Well, he also recorded m/m lines for ME1, didn't he? However, with the increased production time, it's unlikley that it's going to get cut for time, this round.


Given the kerfuffle last time I highly doubt they'd commission the lines without being reasonably sure of their intentions. The last thing they'd want is for fans to find buried content and rage about how they 'could've had Kaidan/Ashley/space lizards'. 

We'll have to wait for the wording of the answer and the question, but I'd tend to think this is more definitive than it would've been at this stage in ME1. The squad structure and romances don't seem to be as rigid as the 'Kaidan, Ashley and Liara' triangle, and this does coincide with some of the writing team's tweets that they've been working on romance dialogue recently/

I could be entirely wrong, though :lol: Let's wait for the audio or some confirmation from BW.

Great potential news on the Kaidan/VS survivor front. Hope the same applies to Ashley, shall definitely be looking forward to the actual podcast to see the exact wording/reply.

Hopefully that's not the Kaidan who died at Virmire and was resurrected by Cerberus' Lazarus Project with a control chip in his brain. Maybe as part of some Reaper attempt to distract gay Shepard.

Hey, I recognized that it would make sense to make kaidan/ashley the same sex romance option, because every heterosexual gamer will have saved Ashley on Virmire and let Kaidan die. So the'yll never find any gay moment in the third game and can't be offended. Since I love Ashely I'd be glad to see her as a same sex option however.

Two sources independently confirmed he did say at the panel at Albuquerque Comic Expo that he's recording s/s romance dialogues for Kaidan. It was a panel, many people heard it there, it surely wasn't made up especially since MarqueAZ posted pic with Raphael she took at the Con. To me that seals it. Sure there's always a possibility they may cut it last minute but really? I doubt they could do it to the gay guys twice

I'm pretty sure voice actors mainly record their dialog without knowing everything about the context or even if it will be used. What I'm taking from this is that Sbarge says he recorded the lines but might not know if they were going to be used...but he says he's cool with them using them in a m/m romance.

If I`ll lose loyalty with Miranda becaus of that, I won`t continue that relationship.

It would be nice to get into a relationship with Samara, she`s hot.
