Hey if Miranda and EDI can have the typical sex-bot body and catsuit. Why can't my mShep wear a catsuit? Oh now that I think of it, I want that mod, "the catsuit casual wear/armor" for both m and f Shep. That might make the Miranda a*** shots and the Smara clevage shots more bearable.

Well, at least in ME2 people all have butts.  In ME3 everyone looks like they've been sitting in their captain's chairs too long and there's no longer any human form visible (for the men, at least).  The Cerberus casual outfit at least had people with tushes. ^_^

So if there's a race like Asari, where they all have feminine features, I'm wondering, will BioWare introduse a masculine equivalent?

An all male species? Nice idea, but how in the blue hells would that even work? Seriously how would they reproduce? Please don't mention mpreg, because then they are hermaphrodites.

We discussed this concept WAY back on this thread. A red race of aliens, all male, who can impregnate ANYONE. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha!

I can't remember how the conversation even got to that point, although I know it started because of Liara. I picked red because it's my second favorite color and blue was already taken.

Hmm... Red... like Mars, the planet named after god of war... I hope they wouldn't be that aggressive but still much distinct from Asari in terms of culture and behavioral norms.

So, I am obviously being ignored here... A couple of pages back I've asked how does Purgatory scene (Cortez) play out for FSheps? Although she knows he's gay, can she still "flirt" with Steve? Thanx! M.

No flirting. He doesn't even give her the "eye candy" line. If I remember right, she says something about it being nice seeing him enjoying himself, then he thanks her for being a good friend, and they have a drink.

An all male race? Yeah, mpreg wouldn't work, but aren't salarian males able to have eggs, I think? I haven't really looked into it to be honest. Sorry if I'm way off XD

Edit: Also for some reason, whenever I try to think of an all male race for ME I can't help but imagine them looking like the race from the movie Avatar only with slight differences XDDD

I thought the Salarian female laid eggs then the male would fertilize the eggs then the eggs were incubated in warm water. Hence all those comment in game about how Salarians don't have sex drives.

And anytime I think about a all male or non-gendered species in ME, I start imagining them as anime guys, you know guys that look kind-of like girls.

Question: does FShep get "why aren't you looking over here?" line with Cortez (even if you know he's gay) and if so, how does that play out? M.

Not sure about that but my Kaidanmancer got "I am looking at the ladies" line. *facepalm*

Yes, that's just sloppy work. Did your Shep already commit to Kaidan a that point?

I've noticed that there are subtle changes in the dialogues depending on your choices, but this was just missed I'd guess. For example, Eve has different attitude (and dialogue) depending on how much the containment shield is damaged (Sur'Kesh). M.

Yeah, it was after Date/Cerberus Talk.

For subtle changes... many quests/NPCs  have that I guess. If you didn't reach Mordin's song on ME2, he doesn't sing it on his last moments on ME3.

I bought ME1 on weekend and currently trying to finish Matt's ME1 run. I had one romanced Ash and left her to die on Vrimire run who will be romancing with Kaidan. I wonder if he will mention that or automaticly friendzone that Shep.

I am glad I started my ME adventure with ME2. I would never bother to play/buy ME2 or ME3 otherwise. Also found many things very different than what I heard on BSN. Wrex ain't that rude/hostile, he is so cool but not as funny as ME3 self. Ashley on the other hand... well has her moments. I liked Tali on ME1. Also learned that Kaidan's girl friend/crush is from Turkey with that name, Rahna? Good luck finding a girl named like that in here. Image IPB (Yeah spelled different to catch same phonetic but I found it a bit funny. Normally for that name first "a" spelled a bit longer, not short like in game speak). I didn't find him whiney at all. He is calm and loveable person I know from ME3, maybe a bit distant.

Another surprising one is Udina. He seems okay to me. I found Anderson a bit whiney than usual tho'. Garrus is usual self and still need to recruit Liara. Most annoying person I've met so far is Asari Consort. That thing was all over my Shepard. She makes Shiala's caress, Parasini's kiss and Liara's hug from ME2 look innocent.

A question. I completed Wrex quest (family armor), Garrus mention his quest and know Tali has one too. Does Kaidan have one also? I am about to head Vrimire and want to finish most of the things before there.

I got the two standerd dialogue choices with Steve even after I commited to Kaidan in my playthrough (my only playthrough as I'm stuck on Mars after having to start over my second playthrough because I got a nasty loading bug and had to start from scratch.)

Only Wrex, Tali (although I don't think Tali's side mission is marked as Tali's quest, but is rather a N7 mission) and Garrus had side missions. Liara has some amazing dialogue if she is a party member on Noveria when you confront her mother. But the romancable characters don't have side-quests in ME1.

When doing Tali in ME1, be careful that after you destroy the final geth base, go and talk with Tali BEFORE you goto the galaxy map to upload the geth data. Othervise, Tali won't get her geth data she needs.
Ashe's/Kaidan's "mission" is the choice which one you nuke on Virmire. Apparently, you can only finish either Ashe's or Kaidan's mission, but not both Image IPB. M.

Yeah I guessed that much. As Adept ain't fun as ME2 or ME3 one (biotic visual effects simply annoying) I better re-start game and pick Liara ASAP. However as I love biotics I think I would go for Vanguard and tweak Matt story a bit. His buffed biotic talents would be result of Cerberus rebuild.

Anyway here is some Kaidan goodness for you.

Even if she looked the same way, but was just a male in strict species-scale sense (which means those ones who have testicular structure)?

Don't know about you guys, but I'm not attracted to transmen (since due to hormone therapy they look like every other men), no matter if they have their ovaries removed or not.

I'm wary of entering the 43256375th incarnation of alien gender discussion in this thread, but biologically being (sexually) male isn't associated with testicular structure per se, at least how they appear in humans; it applies equally to any sort of gamete-producing fertilising organ-thingy. If an alien looked like an asari (with bewbs, even), sounded like a woman, but produced the fertilising gamete rather than the ovum-equivalent, it's male. Of course, that doesn't actually apply in the asari's case since they reproduce through telepathic space magic, but any alien that 'looks' female with male primary characteristics *is* male.

This was mentioned before, but the very idea of "an all-male race" is... not possible, biologically. By definition anything that produces offspring (even by the asari's intricate methods) is female. An all-male race couldn't reproduce, and if one reproduces then they aren't 'all-male', and if they all reproduce then they aren't even male.

Stuff like male pregnancy (O______O) is a misnomer, as soon as something is pregnant it's definitely not male. There's a confusion between the secondary sexual characteristics that *we* associate with being male (in terms of body size, voice, whatever), and the biological definition.

If a hypothetical 'male asari' race looked, acted and sounded roughly like male humans, but still had some way to birth young (and they'd need to, in order to, you know, exist), they wouldn't be male.
