And if Russian is more gender-specific than English that only makes it more likely the romance lines were written then cut out.

Ah, okay, so Sheploo just means "Male Shepard"?IsaacShep wrote...
I was puzzled about this too until very recently xD the 'loo' in Sheploo comes from his face model's name Mark Vanderloo. He's the guy who provided face for the default ManShep that's used on all promo materialKnight of Dane wrote...
Okay, now i have seen this a couple o' times and i seriously cannot figure out what Sheploo means, someone care to explain?

I wonder how BioWare is going to implement this in ME3. like me i romanced Liara in ME1 and Miranda in ME2 so does this mean i can like suddenly develop feelings for Garrus? in my opinion Same sex should have been implemented since the first game.
I'm assuming that Garrus won't be a s/s option. But I don't see nothing wrong with you 'sudenly developping feelings for Garrus'. It is your character, after all.
Not in the context of translating from English to Slav languages. When you have a "You're beautiful" line in English, it applies to both male and female Shepard. But in many Slav languages, the adjectives (and verbs as well) are gender-sensitive and are different when addressing males and females. That's why gender mistakes are not uncommon in Slav translations/dubbings of various media. It is entirely possible to have an english dialogue/scene without any gender references. When a translator doesn't know the context perfectly, he may simply not know what's the gender of the people in a particular scene.Ryzaki wrote...

Male Shepard but the one with Mark Vanderloo's face, the default face you see on the covers and posters.Knight of Dane wrote...

No yet unfortunately. Rahpael Sbarge only confirmed Kaidan will be available for mShep to romance. He didn't say anything about Ash.goodbyetonight wrote...
Has there been confirmation yet that femsheps will be able to romance Ashley in ME3? I'm really hoping for it.

No, both the podcaster who asked him about it and MarqueAZ from here, BSN, who also was at the panel confirmed that he did indeed say there will be s/s romance for Kaidan, Marque even mentions giggles in the audience when he said it. Then he said he doesn't mind it all, is supportive, happy about it etc. The podcaster also provided additional info on how Raphael said that BW wrote it in the game the way that it's possible. Everything's here, all the tweets and quotes.Fidget6 wrote...
He actually didn't really confirm it did he? He just said he supported it.

Soo... that means Bioware went through the effort of justifying Kaiden's new sexuality in the story?IsaacShep wrote...

Why couldn't they have done that back in ME1?!

Always the most hilarious when it's Garrus and/or Tali fans talking about 'ruining' characters by making them available as LIs after they weren't in previous game.xnoxiousx wrote...
I hope to god they dont ruin garrus or tali
by making you able to have romance by same sex in me3 when clearly they
were not interest in same sex in me2.
