Ruin? How can something not established be ruined? 

Especially with Garrus. He isn't sexing up Femshep because she is a she. If you think thats the case, you never romanced him.

As for Tali she the exact same dialogue all the way up to the point where the player is supposed to express the romance interest. Of course the player can't show interest.


Actually this brings up a question I have been meaning to ask How would making a character Bisexual really change their character? I mean the way I see it if femshep romanced Tali they would get all the exact same dialogue and everything, nothing different.

Seriously, whats the difference? Worried about being hit on or something?

Sorta kinda we have multiple sources confirming that Raphael Sbarge, the voice of Kaidan has said that Kaidan was a a romance for male Shepards.

The VA has been done, according to the actor, but I don't think that EA has officially confirmed it. Seems strange that they'd pay an actor to read lines (most VA are paid by line, I believe) and then not use them AFTER they confirm that s/s romance is going to be in the game.

Not by devs...no.  We only know that Sbarge recorded m/m lines (don't know why they would have him do it if they weren't going to have Kaidan m/m).

Confirmed officially? No. We don't even have a clear phrasing on what Sbarge said but the several accounts of the words, described separately by people in attendance both concluded that Kaidan would be a s/s romance.

Not officially by BioWare yet, but Raphael Sbarge (Kaidan's voice actor) confirmed yesterday at Albuquerque Comic Expo that he's recording lines for Kaidan's same-sex romance.

He didn't record it. We call him a podcaster because he runs a podcast but the conversation with Raphael took place at the open Voice Acting panel at the Expo, not any private interview and the podcaster simply asked the question from the audience. Of course it would be the best to have the audio, but thanks to the fact that it was an open panel we were able to to verify the podcaster's claims, by one of the BSN regulars who also was present in the audience.

And who knows, maybe someone else recorded the entire panel. Not like there were only 2 people.

Well with the info we have so far, it is heavily hinted Kaiden is Bi now. However S/S lines were recorded for ME1 and never used.

It is unlikely they wouldn't use the S/S lines at this point, but hell we are a long way off until release.

Meer and Hale s/s were recorded in ME1...that's different from a squad mate recording m/m lines.

Meer and Hale read from a stock gender neutral script...it's easier that way.   But...there's no reason for them to have a sqaud mate record m/m lines unless they will possibly use them.


I imagine Ali Hillis recorded some lines twice to switch out 'he' with 'she', because her character was available to both genders.  If a squad mate was meant to be 'straight only' they wouldn't do that.  Which is why I think these rumors hold some weight.

It's pretty clear that most m/m romancers want Kaidan.

Whereas...the f/f poll is pretty even amongst the four possible LIs.

Why is that?

Personally I think the reasons why are laid out perfectly in this post by Maria Caliban

We have no clear favorites because we like them all, preferably at the same time!
