Whereas...the f/f poll is pretty even amongst the four possible LIs.

Why is that?

It's quite simple really. Kaidan's the only really hot (and not ruined by the "loveboat" dialogue) male human LI, where there are a few hot human female LI's, and the Asari are basically hot blue chicks so.....

I'd take issue with your argument that ambiguous sexuality automatically equals an absence of heterosexuality, though. Characters are still heterosexual - and always were heterosexual - when they say they are. Up until that point, we have no idea. Presuming the normality of heterosexuality is problematic in contemporary society, let alone 2186. 

Thas is funnily enough thats how I approach the subject of my own sexuality.

So far I've only been attracted to the opposite sex. One can never predict the future. However, based on evidence/statistics so far, the chances of me being bi or gay is slim.

Ugh, Kaidan? Kaidan was one of my Shepard's favourite bros. I seriously hope this bi thing doesn't ruin his character, or I will know who on this forum I will have to kill.

Edit: I know Kaidan isn't exactly the best character in the Mass Effect universe, but he's still one of the most stable and normal people. Some of us who look at him don't see Carth Onasi, but Kaidan Alenko.

Kill even? What's wrong with just being generally grumpy. Eg. take it out on a toaster.

Throw it in the tub or sink and watch that sucker get 'cuted.

EDIT: Toasters are pretty cheap these days. We should all have a few lying around for anger management.

I recommend a old PS2/Xbox controller that you don't use anymore, that wire is excellent for swingin' and you can do loads of damage!

It's.. odd that so many feel a character being bisexual undermines their masculinity or badassery. Or their ability to be a 'bro'. I agree about Kaidan's stability being a good part of the character, it's refreshing that he isn't psychotic and doesn't have a dead wife/sister/son/mother/aunt to drone on endlessly about.

And death threats, even in jest, aren't on.

Or people don't trust Bioware's writers not to **** up and compromise said characters... character. See the argument about Liara's change between ME1 and ME2.(I personally like how she was handled, but a lot of people don't)
