My assessment of S/S romance potential in ME3...

Miranda
Should she be? - I think having her as a bi option would turn her into more of a fanservice magnet than she already is. As for her personally? I always saw her as straight. I can't imagine why her father would design her as anything other than straight, considering that she was supposed to "carry on his lineage." Others would probably disagree, though.
Will she be? - Probably not. Unless they decide to go for pure fanboy titillation.

I dont really think that the s/s thing should be in ME3, it was in DA2 and it kinda ruined the game, if it is implemented into the game there should be an option before the start of every new game saying " Would you like to allow same sex romances(other than Liara) to be allowed?" or an option should pop up asking if you would like s/s romances on or off, and that option would disable the s/s thing for the entire game, im not against s/s marriages in real life or anything, but playing through DA2, and discorvering the s/s romance options kinda destroyed the story line for me. I'm just saying that if it were implemented into ME3, there should be an option to turn it off or on at the start of the game.

It doesn't ruin anything, it's completely optional to initiate any romance in that game, and if you do it will exist perfectly with the Story line (Except for Merrill pre patch, bugs)superg30 wrote...

the topic is becoming *utterly hilarious* with its reasoning
To me the animosity is simply obvious. It's the same as in real life when people tell their friends "I don't mind homosexuality at all, I'm not homophobic in a bit! But I hope YOU don't tell me one day you're gay...". Homosexuality/bisexuality is OK as long as it's not too close to them. Sorry, but that shows they still have basic problem with the entire concept.ElitePinecone wrote...
It's not the false logic and sheer, stubborn lack of evidence that gets me most, it's that in the majority of cases these hide a genuine discomfort that people can't express.

I start to notice the language changing after a few posts, it switches from reasonable-sounding concerns about character continuity (even if the reasoning is half-baked) to some sort of raving conspiracy about BioWare being influenced by a cabal of secretive homosexual overlords.
Is it too much to admit that they have a problem with the content, and that's the reason for the long-winded exercises in pointless sophistry?

Why? They're obviously (due to the OP) not allowed to express such sentiments here.
Might as well give them their own thread.
