And perhaps im also a in a minority who likes being hit on. But im against being hit on or ninja molested by asari with out interrupts or ability to say whoa! back off. or by any one for that manner that should be just as in real life if you get hit on you should POLITLEY say hey hold there horses just my two cents take it or leave *shrugs*
This is probably what bothers me the most. It's okay for anyone who plays as FemShep to get hit on by an Asari, because hey, lesbians are sexy, and you can just turn her down, while MaleSheps shouldn't have to denigrate themselves to turn down an advance from another man. I'll take double standards for $500, Alex. I don't remember ever seeing one thread about Liara hitting on FemShep.
1) Lesbians aren't sexy, bisexual women or girl/girl is sexy.
2) Yes, there were threads where people complained about Liara hitting on their FemShep. There were threads where people complained about Liara hitting on their DudeShep as well.

There also threads where people complained about Liara's lack of death.

It has to do with her being author's pet. Nothing about who she decides to sleep with.

This might be the dumbest question but how do you propose her death? She wasn't in ME2 outside of DLC, and there were no plot points that demanded risking her in ME1. If she was involved in the suicide mission and gained immortality it would be one thing, but, she's not.
I personally would have not minded her having a chance to die if it meant she was involved in ME2. I'm sure though you'll have the oppurtunity to kill her in ME3.

I still don't understand, it seems kind of silly to me too QQ about a character not dying in ME2 that wasn't in ME2.

Eh, but, really... it seems like you are. Tali and Garrus couldn't die in ME but, with the characters inclusion in the suicide mission they became potential causalities. Besides keeping anyone alive in ME2 is about as easy as sneezing the only characters to have a halfway unavoidable death in Ash/Kaidan.

I also mentioned her author's pet syndrome which is what I complain about. Her not dying is just a part of that.
But whatever. I never knew voicing a complaint = qqing.

I think Liara just happened to be one character you can't kill. If we look at how they protected VS - Ash & Kaidan, from being killed in ME2, they seem to be as valued as Liara. Not only they're impossible to not-recruit, they're also protected in ME2 and appear to be the most permanent squaddies in ME3. SM didn't prioritize anyone, even the most popular characters. VS variable is very simple compared to that.
Didn't prioritize? Miranda would like a word. She takes some work to kill, hell a loyal Miranda can hold the line by herself.

And from what it looks like she's getting axed from the squad in ME3, so perhaps her higher survival skills during SM wasn't really intentional.Nashiktal wrote...

Gross.
I'd rather the game ended with Shepard and his/her love-interest. <3

I doubt she would be Matriarch. Matron most likely. Not saying she can't be a Matriarch, but only 200 years?

Bleh.
I'd rather Shep's story stay shrouded in mystery. Otherwise the devs are bound to retcon some things out of existance.
