Seriously, have we not had enough of conventional fan service male characters? Garrus became available due to the public demand. Thane's whole species was invented for eye candy. And Jacob's skin-tight outfit is rarely mentioned when talking about Miranda, but it is still there.

I, for one, can't wait till we see the video clip of Vega with a Volus doing a near perfect rendition of the abominable snowman character from the classic Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes cartoon, "Oh, look, Shepard! A cute widdle Volus! I will hug him and squeeze him and wuv him and pet him and stroke his shiny environment suit!"

Hot damn!
Yep. I'd like more options, but this would be fine too.

What are you all ****in' about? It's obvious that Vega would be a totally stereotype-shattering homosexual experiences just like all the other stereotype-shattering big homosexual characters you see in recent Hollywood comedies!

And now I totally have an image of Vega being the stoic until he sees a kitten.
Damn you!

If anything, his face needs to be tweaked a bit. It's a little too bulky. They should thin his head just a tad and make his lips and nose smaller. Other than that I think he looks okay.

I used to argue against the really misogynistic people complaining about the looks of the female cast of Dragon Age 2, that male characters get very little of this sort of treatment.

None of those conventionally pretty/handsome characters are confirmed to be available for m/m action however making it potentially a very frustrating exercise in look at what only femSheps can have for GaySheps.
I haven't got anything specifically against making Vega and m/m Li so long as he isn't the only human m/m Li in that case. Besides none of the male characters in me2 are stereotypically gay because none of them were written that way and none of them are exclusively gay to begin with.

Yeah, his face is FUG. It doesn't help that he has that ridiculous monocle.

Too bad Mel Blanc isn't available to do VA for Bioware games. THAT... WOULD... ROCK...!

Bioware seems to have this thing with eye-wear when it comes to alt. costumes.

I couldn't bring myself to use any of the helmets or glasses or all-in-one suits on Shepard because they are all... so... damn.... damn... double damn... ugly...

Of course. Give James Vega a Haircut is serious business indeed.

I'm going to wait until the game comes out before passing true judgment on Vega. I thought Garrus was a stupid looking dinosaur from early release photos and now he's one of my favorite characters, although CERTAIN fans, like the other Abispa, can't seem to shut up about him. I, however, will not take advantage of any dinosaur s/s feature in ME3.
If it's a female turian, actually, I might hit that on principle.
Not with main!Shep of course, she's staying loyal to Ash (no matter what ridiculous tinfoil miniskirt the poor woman is forced to wear into combat). But, y'know. Female turians and legit s/s relationships without the "lol monogendered means it's not really gay" nonsense in one fell swoop, that's hard to pass up.

Is there going to be a female Turian in ME3? It'll be interesting if it's Garrus' old sparring partner.
So for s/s Turian options we'll have a claw hammer penis or a cloaca. Wow. I wonder if that will ruin people's immersion, destroy the franchise, and force people to never play another Bioware game again.

Vega looks better without the eye-piece. I'm really just hoping it's not in all of his costumes, or that it's set on a toggle.

So, you're actually expecting people to take off their clothes in ME3? ME2 showed that as video games improve, characters can wear a remarkable numbler of layers of clothing during snuggle-bunnies. I'm waiting for the inevitable epic shag sequence with Ashley, Vega, Wrex, Garrus, Zaeed, and/or Shepard with full body armor.
