Oh for pete's sake! totally off topic but all the renegade qqing about all their decisions not being liked is BS. On Legions LM most of the characters advocate the renegade decision.
You're right. We did go off topic again. Um...
About LEGION, if LEGION were to become a LI in ME3, would it be considered a male LI or asexual? Maybe it is my own mental limitation, but I always thought it would be a "he." It's easier to imagine Shepard messing with a bipedal vibrator than an electric vagina.

Vibration function?
Legion would be an orgy technically...aren't there like +1k programs in there? Though I'm pretty sure Legion is an it. We just say he for less rudeness.

WREX: Shepard! My friend! I respect you as a warrior and want to bestow upon a great honor! A glorious trial to prove your worthiness to be a TRUE Urdnot! Worthy of leading many Krogan warriors into battle!
SHEPARD: Wrex! I'm so honored! What is this ritual?
WREX: We call it "The Night of a Thousand Spears," and it is conducted by the leader of the clan in a special ritual chamber after sun down. A human may consider it difficult, but I doubt not your worthiness and I'm sure you will come!
SHEPARD: Wow! Okay, this should be interesting...
Fade to black and then at sick bay we see Urdnot Shaman, Dr. Chakwas, and a grinning Wrex discussing Shepard's... condition.
DOCTOR: Ahem, yes, well, I'm sure s/he will be up and around in a day or two and maybe limp for about a week.
SHAMAN: I cannot believe you actually used that "The Night of a Thousand Spears" line. Or is this an new official Urdnot tradition?
WREX: Heh. Many Krogan have dreamed of this day...
EDIT: @ Ryzaki -- Didn't consider that. Maybe as the official "orgy" lover LEGION could silence the fans demanding a threesome.

@ ElitePinecone -- Neither do I, but it was the last party member to be brought up and I wanted to maintain SOME consistency. Personally, I'd rather talk about Wrex and a potential "ninjamance."

Going by everything legion has said I'd guess asexual. Since legion isn't really even a singular entity but a collective, it can't really have a singular gender-idenity. I think if you asked Legion is would point out that it isn't even a biological lifeform so the concepts of sex, gender, and sexuality can't apply to it even in an abstract sense. It may, however, understand that other species (with the exception of the Asari) have an instinctual need to assign everything a gender and thus choose to do so... In which case it could even be put up to the player to decide whether Legion is refered to as male or female.Abispa wrote...

It's kind of scary how long I could go on about this
Either way as much as I love Legion i don't know about loving Legion...

I can't believe how much whining I saw in one thread after DA2 came out dedicated to the outrage of "accidentally" hiring Serendipity.

When I asked it about patching its hole with the N7 armor and it SEEMED to be nervous and awkward, I was thinking, "Oh man, not a GETH groupie too! Damn it, Bioware, stop!"

Legion is actually the only Shepard groupie I like. He makes sense being a groupie. He's new to the world.
Full grown adults on the other hand. <_<

With no need for procreation and little if any means of individuality, I don't think Legion would approach 'romance' from anything other than an academic standpoint - much like Mordin, I suppose.
To bring up another topic:
Bioware: release the damn information already!
Arguing the same point on these forums for the next seven or eight months will be intolerable.

Meh, I don't see what the problem is. She's pretty cute, though, I absolutely despised the dialogue they gave her.
Ohhh, I think I sort of understand.

Those who seem to be, what we suspect, are the permanent squadies, are characters who haven't died in previous installments: Liara, the Vermire Survivor, and whoever is new (Vega, for instance). I get the feeling that previous squaddies are going to be handled like Wrex was for ME2. If they're alive, we get them for a particular mission or series of missions. If not, we get a stand-in character.
Which actually makes me severely worried about characterization.
On topic, and slightly related to topic.
You know what we need? A Transsexual LI. One MtF and one FtM, then all options will be truly covered.

I'm almost certain that this is how it's going to be handled.
It's a matter of necessity - how could they possibly handle the number of combinations of surviving ME/ME2 squadmates? Writing dialogue for twelve separate characters when they might all be dead, in different combinations, is a logistical nightmare. Not to mention that people's squad size could range dramatically from 2 ME2 survivors to 12. It'd be horrible to try and balance the powers, if, say, you only saved biotics. It just isn't going to happen.
At least with Ashley and Kaidan one of the two is guaranteed to be alive.
So while Tali and Garrus will feature in the squad in some respect, it'll probably be for one mission. Shepard might be able to visit them, though, much like how the romances worked for DA2.
It's also worth noting that we'll probably get one or two more new ME3 squadmates - if they're aiming for a balanced squad, we need a tech person and probably a sentinel (they can't assume we have Kaidan).

Y'know, as much as it would suck for people who import playthroughs featuring deceased Garrus/Tali, they're dead. Missing out on content that involves them is sort of a given, and not something I'd say justified putting them into a minor role to avoid missing out much.
Could someone pm me a link or thread title to where the minor roles were mentioned? I've been away and there's way too much new info to process all at once and the search feature still sucks <_<
I'm kind of hoping that the minor roles exist because the potentially-dead characters are mostly getting replaced by familiar faces from the previous games. Kal'Reegar can take over for Tali and be my Shep's s/s romance...

Haven't read the entire thread, just want to say that I'm extremely pleased about gay romances in ME3. It's pissed me off since I had the first convo with Kaidan in ME1. I hated him, but I wanted him to be Shepard's boyfriend so badly. Maybe I wanted my Shep to hatef*** him?
In any case, I'm very pleased by a step towards parity.
Thank you. Hang around and chat if you want.

:happy:The first time anyone's actually been nice to me around here, lol. I'm not gay, but it's always aggravated me when games don't allow for an equivalent representation in terms of sexuality. The presence of gay romances won't take away from hetero romances, so I just fail to see why gay romances would be excluded in any context that straight ones appear. That's my biggest beef with Persona 3 and 4.
Anywho, since this hasn't come up in the earlier ME games, I wonder how this is going to manifest. Like, is Shepard gonna pull out something like Anders said in DA2 where he was like "I don't care about the body, love is love," or will s/he have some kind of sexual realization or what? I dunno. I'd been looking forward to the game before, but this has renewed a lot of my excitement, even if I don't end up pursuing any homosexual romances. Good stuff, Bioware.
