As for s/s romance, after seeing how romances were handled in da2 for the sake of appeasing the fans...I think we should be cautious as to what we ask from the devs...what we want might not be what we want.

Err I doubt you'll find much support for that position here.  I won't claim to speak for everyone but the general opinion is that whatever faults DA2 may have had the romances were good and them being open to everyone was great.  There are only 3 major complaints I usually see "Anders hit on my MHawke  waaa waaa waaa", general ****-shaming for Isabela and "OMG Tali 2.0" for Merrill.  As for me anyone who holds those positions can take a long walk off a short pier in concrete shoes.

Oh, I can totally see it: The Alenko/Vega home. Outside it's chaos, the Reapers are invading, fire's raining from the sky, people are getting slaughtered.

Because it wasn't a decision Bioware made on their own or anything. We were on the verge of Stonewall 2.0 over here. If we didn't get a plethora of gay romances we were going to storm the Bioware Bastille in our cha-cha heels and flannel shirts and put heads on spikes outside our rainbow castle.

I wanted a nice sane mage to fight dragons and templars with. I was in no way appeased by the walking petri dish, lunatic abomination, thick-as-concrete rebellious child, or the obsessive shut in with intimacy issues.

Except for the faint bit, I mean, someone who headbutts a krogan, punches out a giant 4(or was it 6?) armed alien, faces down a rogue spectre who then turns into some crazy cyborg thing, the list goes on really... faints at the thought of having blue kids? I think my immersion was just broken.

Back on topic, I had to laugh about the Leandra comments.  I liked when she commented "I've seen the way you look at Anders" and then spoiled it with the "finding you a wife" comment almost right away.  Why  could I not respond to her damn it!  I also loved Hawke's uncle and his "So you moved the appostate boy into your house?  I don't have to ask which one's the girl!"  That cracked me up.  I really kept hoping for a comment from Warden Carver when he re-appeared at the end, along with a "punch" icon response from Hawke.

Though Gamlen's comment to his neice is really creepy. "Two women, I've always wondered what that's like."

Hahaha, sounds like something that old creepy perv would say.

Which is ironic since it's the closest we've had to s/s romance so far.
I love the Asari. But then I'm weird and really like speculating about fictional biology and a sentient humanoid monosexed species that reproduces assexualy is an effing gold mine of possibilities.

It's off topic, I know, but I REALLY want to see Hannah Shepard. After seeing the way the family was handled in DA2 (except for "Black" Gamlen's horrible face paint), I would like to see her look like a relative of my Shepards. Also, maybe have her be a paragon or a renegade depending on what kind of Shepard you made, that way establishing that Shepard is a chip off the old block.
