It would make no sense to have s/s romance with VS be a simple copy+paste job form the rebooted continued straight romance with VS. Even a rebooted romance has completly different dynamic than a completly new romance that starts after years of friendship.

Huh, so kinda like how the Tali romance was introduced, a "Suprise, she's hot for you." comment from the secretary and away we go.
It works as well as anything else I could come up with. I think, if it comes to doing that again, I'd probably preffer Siansonea II's dialog, though.

Some people have been afraid that s/s romances with the VS, or any existing character, would cut away dialogue from ME/ME2 imported romances with that character or lead to a bland muddle where both romances use the same voice work. 

I don't think this will happen. Given the amount of dialogue Bioware seem to be writing, I don't see how it could be a copy/paste job, even assuming they could make the dialogue vague enough to cover both scenarios. 

From everything the writers have been tweeting about, they have a lot of dialogue planned and (it seems) quite a few romance scenes in store.

Not with Kaidan. He thinks Shep's straight so it'll be Shep who will have to make the first move. Ashley maybe, but I doubt it either.

They weren't flirting. They were joshing each oter. 

There is? *headdesks* WTF Cerberus. W. T. F. (and she clearly can't be preggers because they're on that ship for more than 9 months...) Everyone on the SR2 is also a terrorist. (save the squaddies). WTF. BW can't even be consistent. T_T 

Well whatever if Shep doesn't have to be professional he's gonna chew someone's heart and spit it out since they think about gittering about a "crush" to him.

Edit: To be honest though I have this thing about being hit on. I feel weird and dirty. I don't know why. I just would rather avoid it if at all possible. Silly? Maybe but I'd still prefer it.
