As would I, unfortunately it seems far more likely that Shepards armour in ME3 will take after Vega's so that MShep at least will be forced to look like a tank or miniature mecha since that's where the series seems to be headed.
I think MSheps current default armour choices will look downright casual compared to what we'll be forced to endure in ME3.

Uh...no. In the combat vids Shep's wearing his old N7 armor. It'll probably be like before where we could mix and match parts. They're not gonna change Sheaprd into some overly buff person because the model he's based off of doesn't have that kind of body.

Fortunately not, I personally couldn't stand it if Shep, regardless of class was forced to have the same steroid problem as Vega. But if his new armour is actually some form of powered/mechanized armour then body type won't matter all that much.

Which variant of the original N7 armour was he wearing, I bet it wasn't the light or the medium one but then again I haven't watched the combat vids yet since they're always about default/soldier Shep creating the biggest explosions possible and I never play as a Soldier in ME.

I downloaded a mod to put chest hair on the male model, once. The texture was so weird I deleted it.

Uh...Shep's normal N7 armor isn't that heavy. It looks more like medium to me. Heck it looks lighter than Kaidan's armor.

If Kaiden has absolutely no reason to fear Sheps. or someone else reaction to his admission of being Bi and liking Shep, than why not ask outright? He knows that even if Shep is Bi it woun't be written in bold letters on his forehead, is it? You never know unless you ask - Shep never told anyone that he is straight, he does not have a history of rejecting s/s proposals in front of Kaiden, so there is no real reason why Kaiden would assume that Shep is straight. Unless he is worried about making a mistake that can damage their relationships he has no reason not to ask.
He wouldn't even have to express interest if alternative sexuality is a norm. Just jokingly asking: "Left any girlfrends back home? Boyfrends?" would land him some kind of response, equally light probably, but indicative of Sheps opinions if he wished to make them known.
Kaiden purposeful suffering from his unrequired love and not touching the subject with a seven fut pole would be an indication that such a suggestion, even in joke can be seen as offensive. And that is something I'd prefer to avoid.

That's how you and I think, not how Kaidan thinks though. That's my point, he was just written this way, perhaps on purpouse to not bring up the topic of bi/homosexuality between Kaidan and mShep at all. Think about it, they've cut the gay romance between the two due to time constraints. If there was a scene in which Kaidan asked Shep about his sexuality, it would be inconsistent for Kaidan not to flirt with mShep after already having the knowledge mShep is into dudes. Not to mention the cutting and lack of their romance would be even more eye-soaring and in the face of gay players this way. Doubt BW would want to tant us "Yeah, both are bi but you still can't have them romance each other ha!" after already taking it outta the game.
