And as for mech/vehicle combat that could be religated to DLC like it was in ME2. Bioware uses seperate teams and budgets for DLC so if they go that route again it won't force anything to be cut from the main game at all.

So I think most, if not all, of the extra development time will be taken up by implementing Kinect for XBox and adding more features (like Mechs and Vehicles) to the combat portion of the game. any extra story and romance options will be last in line on the list of additional things to add in the extended development time, with additional m/m options being the very last in that line and hence the very first to get cut when they are inevitably going to face budget/time constraints.
