i see your point but it can be taken either. way but here is a vid that someone moded when they found the unfinished files on me1(pc) they simply finished it. but consider this to most people who support s/s making ash or kiaden bi makes more sense thenbringing in a new LI i feel the same way it would make me3 "messy" but if it were up to you would you make bi? an oldie? or som1 new?
[/quote]
If it were up to me. I'd make her hetero and expand on it. Starting a new LI would be insane at this point because we know the characters too well and a new LI would only complicate that. The only new LIs I could tolerate would be the ones from ME 2 like Kasumi, Samara if she chooses to act on it, hell, even Chakwas, she deserves it. (violates the code but what the hell). Seriously, I just want major expansion into the LI of choice.

I just wish they've done it now. Don't want the same arguments (she can be bi! no she can't! he can be bi! no he can't!) over and over again for the next 8 months. Too much pointless guessing, in the end everyone will get their hopes up to the max and obviously some (of not the majority) will end up disappointed.rolson00 wrote...
yea flamers will flame im going to keep rooting for s/s with her until BW either do it or say that shes not

I find it hard to believe Ash is the bi LI because...I really don't see her as the type to hold her tongue. If she wants something she seems the type to me to go after it. Damn whatever anyone else thinks.
i'll be dissapointed if she isnt she was the only one i really wanted for my femshep

I've never played through her romance, but does she go after Shepard first or does Shepard have to pursue her?

She kept dropping my male Shepard hints when I played (and kept ****ING NINJAMANCING ME *sorry sore spot*). But yeah she makes her interest in male Shep pretty clear (and irritatingly ninjamancing!).

I know the feeling...but BW would need some masterful writing to pull of what reason Ash didn't make her feelings clear.

100% agree.
Ash idolizes strong male figures and seeks the approval of strong male figures..
It would be more believeable if Kaiden came out of the closet

Obviously since a reason why Kaidan didn't make his feelings clear is already there (he thinks Shepard's straight). Ashely doesn't have that so it would be harder, but both were considered bi-options originally so I'm sure they wouldn't have any problems in the end to write it well.jbblue05 wrote...

Case of the old 'you don't miss something until it's gone' would satisfy me on that point, but yes. We'll have to wait and see I suppose.

I'm a 100% sure they can pull it off with Kaidan but with Ash I think their going to have to maim her character to make it work

I just hope they don't copy Kaidan's explanation. It already starts to look like BW treats VS as one character, suddenly they're both Spectres and what not, don't want it to go even furtherjbblue05 wrote...

She constantly flirts with maleshep throughtout the game.
When Ash says she's not a word person I think she means closing the deal and being romantic

I'm just happy the VS is back. ME2 would've been a 100x better with Ash in my squad

Yeah that doesn't mean she's not gonna hit on someone she's attracted to. Her and Kaidan both practically jump down Shepard's throat (never knew how annoying it was until I replayed ME1).

When Ash says she's not a word person I think she means closing the deal and being romantic
And maybe this is what prevents her from pursuing a female Shepard. There's always a certain hesitancy and second-guessing "Is she, or isn't she?" Because she's not a word person, Ash is afraid she'll screw things up if she says anything and it comes out wrong.
Anyway, it's all open to interpretation.

If Bioware does that they will just be copying the Tali romance in ME2.
I'm sure Bioware can think of a hundred ways to make Ash bi-curious

If a write is to add such things to a character, that works out, but to put such real world thought processes onto things that are incapable of such..

I specifically left Kaidan on Virmire so I wouldn't have to deal with telling him to sod off. Problem solved.
Sorry, Kaidan fans

I agree with shadowreflexion. Until Bioware makes any character state explicitly about their sexual orientation, all of the discussion as to whether an LI is straight/gay/bisexual/asexual/transgender is purely based on the player's interpretation.
To illustrate this I will try give you an example. Let's say a person acts "very straight" and may have flirted with someone of the opposite sex. This can be interpretated in many ways. You could say that he has a "straight demeanour" so therefore he is straight. But then you could be wrong because a person's behaviour is not dictated by his/her sexual orientation. (A man who acts a little feminine is not necessarily gay. Likewise, a man who acts very manly is not necessarily straight.) Another person might interpret that this person is gay but "acts straight", because he/she is closeted.
But only until said person explicitly states whether he/she is gay or not, his/her sexual orientation is just pure guessing on your part.
The only discussion here is whether Bioware can write the storyline in such a way where these different interpretations can be placated gratifyingly.

With all due respect, folks seem to be making some far reaching assumptions about fictional characters. Ones that are written and not capable of thinking the same way those of us in the real world do.

...is fun?
It's a testament to the strength of Bioware's storytelling. They created a compelling setting and populated it with some interesting and engaging characters. It's fun to deconstruct aspects of their history and personality, consider their motivations, all that.

I don't blame you. I do the same thing to Ash.
Really the only reason I Virmire her at this point is because of the ninjamancing.
