Shiala? That could be okay. She DOES make a pass at femshep. Though, she's on the "could be dead" list, sadly.

Having Vega and a new human lady for s/s would be great, but I hope their romances would get a little more time to breathe than the ME2 romances did. No mutual declaration of interest at first sight, I want more character development (and some delicious tension :innocent:) first. Add some tension with the bi VS to that and I'll be a happy camper. BioWare did it quite well with Liara in LotSB, so let's see some more.

As much I like my femshep s/s romance with Liara, Bioware basically discounting Liara as a s/s option put a bad taste in my mouth that is hard to get rid of.

That being said, I wonder if she'll stray to someone human in ME3...

Ditto.  Well more like I feel if we all collectively pretend their rationalization makes a lick of sense then they will be forced to give us an additional f/f option in ME3 in the interest of fairness.  Although let's be honest it's not like they were trying to appeal to the gay/bi female gamer, we just got to eat the crumbs off the Straight Male Gamers™ overflowing plate.   And they don't score any points for that, contrary to the belief of certain peoples.

Seems like BW's excuses did nothing but damage... And they could've just said a simple "time constraints" instead of these nonsense excuses that did nothing but damage...

Disagree on that a bit. In the end, there still was female same-sex romance, various flings (Kelly, the Consort) and lots of lesbian undertones (Samara, Morinth). Heck, Liara had her own DLC and will end up having basically the biggest romance arc out of all the characters. There was absolutely nothing gay in ME1 & ME2. I would take gay content aimed at straight women over nothing aimed at gay men anyday.

The whole Liara doesn't count as s/s thing won't leave a truly bad taste in my mouth UNLESS Bioware does a 180 and decides it counts NOW so they can get credit for a "new" option that has always been there.
