GDC is in Februrary. Gamescom and PAX in a month are the last major convention events, I don't think BW ever does Tokyo Games Show. Other than that there's SPike VGA but the most they will do there is show some final trailer or something...

Meh. I don't think I have ever watched Gamescom and PAX...

They need to get the ball rollin' on info for this game. It may seem like ages, but nine months go by pretty fast...

I like playing games with my bf and watching godawful movies on netflixs together (and trust me we have watched some really bad movies just for the heck of it)

Actually, it's just 7 and a half months now. By PAX/Gamescom, it will be just half a year. Agree them need to start realising more info. Seriously, how is "Tali will be 90% squadmate and Wrex 10%" a story spoiler? Just tell us how long old characters will be able to to be as squadmates, who will be available for romance, how many new characters will be required to recruit and how many old we wil be able to recuit,  etc. Planet reveals are bigger spoilers than that. Not to mention they've already spoiled the entire structure of the game lol (Earth -> Mars -> gather all forces -> Go back to Earth to fight of the reapers with the aid of galactic armies).

Exactly. I've dated two gamers (including the current one) and two non-gamers and dating non-gamers/non-nerds kind of really, seriously sucks. It's awesome that I can play games and he won't nag at me, and that he even expands my horizons in gaming. I've always been a big fan of more interactive, unique games like Mass Effect, but he got me to play other games. He turned me into a Metroid and Zelda fan.

Exactly! You know they're just holding information back because if they release a lot of it at once this forum is going to go down in flames. But it's pointless, we're going to find out anyway, and I don't see how saying: "Vega will be an option for s/s romance" (or similar comments like that) spoils anything...hell, even telling us that Tali's face will be visible isn't a spoiler. We all KNOW her face is gonna be revealed.

boyfriend was who got me into valve games and ME1/2 he also happens to hate the same stuff I hate too which is an extra bonus

On the other hand, that means I'd only have to deal with more-boring-than-watching-paint-dry-Taylor for 10 minutes, so it's TOO Awful. I'd be more angry if they made him a full-time squad member.

I dont have that problem since jacob took a rocket to the face in my "canon" playthrough

SERIOUSLY! They don't wanna' spoil anything but I watched the demo and thought: "WHY AM I GOING TO BE FIGHTING CERBERUS!"

ME Team: "So Cerberus will be the new enemy outside of the Reapers."

Me: "#$@#$ BIOWARE FOR SPOILING THAT FOR ME!"

I love Mass Effect and I love the team, but they have a really strong penchant for coming up with B.S. excuses for why they do things. "No, no, Liara isn't TECHNICALLY a female" and "No, no! We don't want tell you the L.I.'s because it'll SPOIL EVERYTHING!".

Was just an example. With other characters, they ain't saying a word. Miranda fans are for example completly clueless how Much she will be in the squad if at all.

considering how popular she is and how much they freaking try force her to stay alive during the suicide mission (didnt work though since my evil schemes managed to still get her killed) i have no doubt she will be a long term party member and important to the plot
