Ask her about Kaidan's s/s romance, maybe she knows something and will spill the beans tehemakenzieshepard wrote...
So uh since we are talking about Liara here I'll just drop that I'll be doing an email interview with Ali Hillis. She seems pretty cool about s/s stuff per this video so feel free to PM questions that you might want asked of her!
And I'm pretty sure she was joking about the romance thing!

Yeah, ask her is Liara gets jealous of Kaidan if manShep starts hitting on him!
"I didn't realize that you... liked other men."
"I thought that you didn't recognize gender, Liara."
"That's not the point!"

I think he said you had to be either a male or female character to have a s/s romance. Also, they've decided to implement the infamous toggle that deactivates anything gay, but the result is that every character in the game is the same gender as Shepard.
And if there are still women in ME3 krumping in the bars (while the guys just sort of shuffle around), will they still be busting loose when they turn into guys?

If the definition changes, is it still appropriate to print it in big, bold letters across skyscrapers, or does it become tasteless?

...head also, because sexism is a pretty crappy thing to do in either direction?
Splendid.

I'm a man, the target of that joke, and I said that with no sense of self-loathing. I tell many jokes that could be considered "sexist," particularly with my GF, but I would never use them on a stranger or even an acquaintance unless I was positive she wouldn't be offended. Not to mention that the entire conversation about the s/s toggle was satirical in the first place.

Is there a video of the Casey Q&A where he mentions s/s romances or do I need to just wait until Bioware TV cycles back to it (if that's where it was)?
I know he doesn't say much but I just like watching the Q&A's... Ok I just like watching CHud.
(@quething Oh... Oh I'm sorry.)
ETA and nevermind just watched it.
I REALLY like the idea of the new friendship bonding thing too. Making a proper distinction between a friendship and a romance will definitely help prevent ninjamances and make sure the dudebro's don't have to suffer the terror of hitting on their bro.
