Oh, you can still have a threesome with Isabela, even AFTER she declares that she IS "in love" with Hawke. Hello, Zevran.
I hear that Bioware finally fixed the bug so you can finally save that girl on the Wounded Coast in Chapter 3. After you save her Hawke can use the "heart" icon on the girl, but I was using my "virtuous" male Hawke and Merrill at the time. I have no idea what will happen if I had "naughty" female Hawke with Isabela with me at the time. I suppose it could be yet another time for Hawke to be shot down.
Um, we should probably get back on topic soon.
EDITED for clarity. I didn't mean to make it sound like the female victim in Chapter 3 IS a threesome opportunity. I meant the "ridiculously handsome" male elf from DA:O.

No, that's a bug that has been fixed. If you had a fling with Isabela, the epilogue of BOTH Isabela and the "real" LI would play at the same time with Isabela's playing the loudest.

I think Isabella drops a hint to either Hawke or Merril that she's open to the idea of a threesom, but I think thats in random banter.
Speaking of lesbian pirates, I'd love to make a Femshep who'd be all over Jack's suggestion to go pirate with the Normandy and have Jack around as "First Mate"

I can see Shepard convincing everyone to fight on the same side, but that some factions will be "loyal" and the others just along out of necessity. As was the case with "loyal" and unfocused squad members in ME2, the effect could be disasterous even though the Shepard can still win the game.
It all depends on how well it's written, and such rivalries could really add emotional weight to any Tali, Miranda, Ashley or Legion romances (stay on topic, stay on topic). But I WILL be pissed if all Shepard has to do is give a magic speech and everyone suddenly realizes the power of love and starts singing Kumbaya.
This is true, and it'll probably have an effect on the state of the galaxy post-ME3. We've already seen hints in gameplay videos (the Sur Kesh demo, for example) that suggest the turians and krogans are forming an alliance, although I'm mystified that this even needs to take place when all organic life is threatened by the Reapers.
I'd also be annoyed if Shepard's magic 'aura of leadership' thing suddenly convinces seemingly-sensible and cautious people to abandon all reason and put aside their differences/charge into battle.
Bioware have a strange pattern of telling us, in-game, that the protagonists have some sort of mystical 'ability to command', or an ineffable presence that people naturally follow - I can count Revan, Li's apprentice, Shepard, the Warden and Hawke as all having this - but never really giving us enough to believe that it's plausible, let alone realistic. The dialogue never seems to back up the idea that our character is an inspirational presence on the battlefield, and what they say that isn't platitudes is mostly orders that any competent person would've followed anyway.
Especially when the rhetoric extends to such gems as "We fight or we die. That's the plan." Sound strategic thinking, Commander!
Relating back to S/S: Who wants to make a prediction what the announcement will be at Comic Con, in approximately 7 or 8 hours? I'm guessing either space battles (don't laugh, it could happen!), co-op or a new character. Perhaps the Vigilante?

It is so very sad that he will not get the LI he deserves though. There will be NO Krogan loving in ME3.
I must figure out how to mod the game! The sexual charisma of Wreav is too great to be ignored, dammit!

I'm hoping the latter. The first one might be fun. The middle one can go away.

The "aura of command" was the most prominent in KotOR 2, where it was a friggen plot-point. But that wasn't written by Bio, directly and I don't hold them accountable for some of the worst Star Wars writing I've seen before the prequels. <turn's off nerd rant mode>
On Topic: I hope we get some further development on s/s content, or maybe a new squad member reveal.

Space Battles: I'd like it if they were handled more like, you had to select tactics and give orders from Shepard's perspective, rather than take direct control of the ship and fly around like a flight sim, or a rail shooter. It would be more dramatic to have Shepard shout orders, your choices determine how the battle plays out and how much damage the Normandy takes, costing you time while you make repairs before heading out again.
Co-Op: Die in a fire.
New Character: Yes please! Give us something new to speculate about!

Hey, could anyone tell me where did you learn about this Vigilante companion?? I didn't read anything about that yet...

Oh yes, yes please. I certainly would've liked it if the opening Suicide Mission sections had some manner of player influence, rather than being a series of uncontrollable cutscenes. "Get in close and finish them off"? Really? But we have this giant space cannon that can blow holes through them from afar.

Best speech ever in a Bioware game was the Salarian STG "Hold the line" speech by Capt. Kirahee. Now HE could have been a worthy protagonist!
I keep seeing "The Vigilante" mentioned by fans, but I'm apparently out of the loop. Maybe it's Toombs? Of course, he could be dead. Oh well.
I don't see any specific s/s LI information coming out till after Christmas if the established Bioware pattern holds true. There are already quite a few "we don't need Vega" threads around and I can see the number explode if it were revealed now that he's gay. By the same token, I wouldn't be thrilled to see hundreds of "Vega is the greatest LI ever" threads start up by fans who desperatedly want male s/s partners, especially since we have no idea how good/bad the character is yet.

Same xD
But idc, Izzy is fit.
But back to ME3: I'm stuck now. Whilst I really hope there's an additional f/f LI for FemShep...I don't think I can create a FemShep who doesn't romance Liara D:
I'm so used to it now it's like second nature ;x

You could always romance Liara but then flirt shamelessly with the new female same-sex love interest, just to see where that goes. Could be fun!

I believe that a lot of people would be happy to see Vega as M/M LI, if it meant that others like Kaidan or Jacob stayed heterosexual. Same for the new female squaddie.

I would be STUNNED if there were more than one or two previously introduced squad-mates who become s/s options, though it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. The other options would be characters like Dr. Chakwas or Joker. Still, any joy for the "keep them straight" fans would probably vanish if Vega were a permanent squad member and many of the established favorites are made part-timers.

They won't answer who the s/s LI is, obviously, but they may give insight on how they took our feedback and decided to implement the content.
