Perhaps my experiences have made me biased but I have never met or known ANYONE like that. I have known people who went from one to the other; but never both at the same time.
I was one of those people.
When I was in my late teens; I thought I was the bee's knees. Amazing, great, sexy, and look-at-me-arent-i-oh-so-liberal-and-tolerant.
I have pics of me in my Model Me period on my profile.
And after that I crashed and burned largely due to being in an abusive relationship pulling up deep seated insecurities I never knew I had. I had a mental break down and became massively depressed and introverted. Became convinced I was a bad person, that I was fat, and ugly, and stupid. A complete one eighty on my personality.
If I were to be completely honest I verged on having an eating disorder at one point because of it all.
So you can understand why I have such difficulty accepting Miranda as a character.
She just doesnt make sense to me.
And the scary thing is I dislike Jacob even more than Miranda lol.
I can relate to that...as a teen and early adult hood, I grew a long fringe and kept my head down....I didn't want to subject people to the horror of my face...yes, I was serious....ended up drunk, broken, etc...Am so over that now, I love wisdom with age (40's now)....got over myself.
Though, yes, maybe that's why Miranda just so seriously rubs me the wrong way...I hadn't thought of that possibility....is something for me to examine now.

I think it is wrong to promote homosexuality in a video game because the little kids that play the game will be inspired to test it on their little siblings and that is just ****ed up. Homosexuality is a crime because God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. If you think its okay since its not in a real environment then your messed up. If you think homosexuality is ok then you are ignorant.
You so crazy.
If we want to use biblical references....lets talk about Lilith, cast from Eden because she refused to lay with Adam, are we supposed to take that as canon behaviour too?...Punish a woman if she refuses to lay with a man?...What is it they call forced sex again Bonereaver?

Sorry. What's a fringe?some form of acne?
shorter hair you grow to cover over your brow, most people who choose to grow a fringe, generally grow it just down to their eyebrows...I grew mine down to the end of my nose, so like a curtain I guess.

Kaidan's just amazing. Nice, bit social shy yet craving for acceptance, caring, passionate and of course very handsome. I just want my Shep to hold him, love him, marry him and tell him he's ain't have to worry about anything anymore

But I think he/she meant that the fringe was there to hide the face so they wouldn't have to look anybody in the eye. Half of the face is literally just hair.
