Hmmm need to make a Native American Shep. I had hispanic, black, white and filipino/polynesian Sheps but not a Native American yet

What I liked about Kaidan and Ashley is that, out of all the squad-mates Shepard has been stuck with, they are the ones who challenged him/her the most. Yes, I know they eventually backed whatever decision Shepard made, but the after mission dialogues were more enjoyable for me because they would at least question my decisions.

I only wish their mid-mission side taking was a little more consistent with who they are, rather than 'ok, now one of you needs to argue for something, and one of you needs to argue against it', something that applies to every squad mate. ME2 does at least solve that, even if it mostly seems to accomplish it by doing away with having your squad members give you advice.

I wouldn't place my money on that. I definitely think Vega will be gay option, but Kaidan too

If only BioWare would be that generous.  It could happen; they've done it in DA2.

Considering it was BW that told Raphael they wrote gay romance for Kaidan in ME3, I think that's almost sure it will happen!

Man, I really hope so, too. I mean, if I find out he's NOT a s/s option, I'll have to round up all the regulars on this thread so we can track you down and talk you down from the ledge. I won't bring Ryzaki, though, 'cause it won't help to have somethere who keeps calling you a dummy.

I know what you mean about he mid-mission quips, but I was talking the post mission chats. The only time ME2 did the stupid ME1 mid mission quips was during the decision to keep or destroy the base. One character always recommends keeping it. Then, after the credits, you go to visit that squadmate and if you DID keep the base s/he tell you how disappointed they are in you.

One note about the first game, my only s/s romance, a renegade with Liara, she always does the RED options unless Liara advises against it. So there I was, expecting to save the Council when LIARA tells Shepard that it would be too risky to throw away Alliance ships like that.

I hope Australia takes note and follows suit....I never have understood why politicians have been so hell bent on sticking their noses into private consenting adult relationships...how in the hell does it really matter to a pollie who someone chooses to sleep with and dedicate their lives to, it has never made sense that s/s relationships are denied marriage.

@ goodbyetonight -- We are for s/s romances of both genders. Males do seem to get most thread time, but their fans are probably slightly more excited since m/m options have NEVER been available in the series before while f/f ones have. Feel free to chime in.

Heck, I've spent most of my romance posts focused on my Shepard's m/f romance with Ashley and no one has complained yet.

Yes, I agree, but if I was walking along and just saw the picture without any other references around that it was from ME, I would not have. That's all I'm saying.

Though I'd prefer Ashley the soldier had a little more meat on her. The Shepard nude might be appropriate if she were an Adept since they supposedly burn so many calories that it's impossible for them to NOT be rail thin.

Sex in the shower is something ME needs more of in my opinion. Poor Garrus could not figure that out when he let Shepard finish her shower AND put her uniform back on before going for some snuggle-bunnies.
