So, I was playing Tali's loyalty mission last night and I noticed a few more lines that scream "I'm also into FemShep."
There is, of course, the linking suits, discussion, but a few moments stood out to me.
During her recruitment mission, a log has her whistfuly sighing and lamenting, "I wish Shepard were here." regardless of gender.
Then, after the trial, with the way I ended it (chewing out the admiralty) she commented to Shepard, "I have you." in this... "I have feelings for you." subtexty way.

So, I return to my original stance of: Tali for s/s. ^_^

Tali has the most lesbian subtext of any other female LI.

Not to say any other female LIs don't make sense...but...it's totally there for Tali.

What's wrong with sex???!

Absolutely nothing. This game was intended for a mature audience anyways, so I don't see what the big deal is. The detail that we've gotten into is even less than that of a highschool health class anyways (I can only speak for Canadian schools though haha. Dunno how tight knit the American ones are).

Without mentioning against site and thread rules.

No it's not. You might want to read the OP and the site rules again. Sex is not a forbidden discussion topic and everything that's been said over the last two pages has been on topic.

Wasn't talking about just the last two pages.

Anything else bub?

Then what was the point of responding to the question if you weren't refering to anything being discussed?

Well first off the single sentance you ripped from a whole post(learning something from the trolls eh?) to make some sort of cute point wasn't a direct response to any specific post but to concern, expressed privately, publically, byme and quite a few others about the tone and direction of this thread over the last 4 or so days.  If you don't know what is going on maybe you review the situation first before jumping in while uninformed.

Really? I'm a troll now for correcting you about the site rules? It wasn't a cute point, you were wrong and I told you as much. There was no need to include the rest of your post because I wasn't responding to the post as a whole, just the incorrect statement about it being against site/thread rules to discuss sexual mechanics.
If you weren't talking about the conversations at hand it would have helped to clarify that point instead of mingling your concerns in with Elite's comment that was actually about the conversations at hand.

Wow I know you're exaggerating but to be honest I doubt by much. It's way more lenient and way more informative up here. My teacher even demonstrated how to correctly put a condom on using a banana. :pinched:

I really don't like the idea of a big "Oh and by the way, I'm gay!" announcement, because it's making a big deal about something that shouldn't be a big deal.

There were definitely subtle ways that Hindel could've indicated his sexuality without randomly shouting "I'M GAY!"

Did you ever watch LOST? I thought that the character Tom was a perfect example of this. When the female lead implied that he was going to watch her take a shower, he just kind of laughed to himself and said, "You're not my type." He was a bad-ass, unstereotyped homosexual man, but he never made a big deal about it or left it to other characters to out him from the closet.

I mean, yes, Kahlee tries to be "subtle" in revealing Hendel's sexuality, but I would've prefered if this role had been left to Hendel himself. Again, I feel like most of Kahlee's lines about his sexuality read as, "wink wink, nudge nudge" and it actually belittles his sexuality.

It's just a matter of perspective I guess. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Hendel wasn't present for any of these conversations, so Kahlee was pretty much forced by the circumstances to "out" him, if such a concept still exists in the 2180s. She may have been overly coy, but that's about it. I would have just said "oh, he's gay, so it's unlikely he has a crush on that woman." Because it's not a dark secret, it's just a Random Fact About Hendel. And it's certainly nothing to be coy about. But Kahlee seems to be rather indirect in general, if I remember her character correctly. I'm much more "blunt", I guess. :D

I'm not sure how putting a condom on a banana can stop someone from becoming pregnant. Perhaps the extra potassium could help with STDs, though.

Seeing as New York recently legalized gay marriage (WOOHOO!) It only seems fitting that their sex ed class would be more liberal and less traditionalized. :)

Enough. This isn't the place to fight about this stuff. For what it's worth, if anyone should be clarifying the rules around here, it should be me or the moderators. This is a friendly conversation thread, so be friendly toward each other, and you'll rarely go wrong. If we get too far off topic, hopefully somebody will pull us back to the main discussion. Yes, we can talk about sex, but let's be classy about it, for all of our sake. We have the FFTL group for those who want to explore things in "greater detail", but here in the main forums, we should handle ourselves with a little more decorum. I don't think that's unreasonable, and I don't think anyone should feel singled out or attacked by that being said. Remember, friendly thread, friendly discussion.

Australia here.

My school couldn't afford to supply every student with condom and fruit (snrk! BAHAHAHA!) so instead the Health teacher brought in a glass box of preserved condoms of various sorts, from ribbed to ridged, fluro to super thin, it was... interesting...

You know what they don't teach in Sex Ed? Actual sexual methods... or methods for Gay sex. Understandable but still in defiance of the purpose of education. They don't just tell you to throw a ball in sport, they also educate you on the theory of how to throw the ball properly. Okay... this is in practice has some unpleasant (or pleasant for some) implications...

The books are good, they do add to the story, but don't expect Hendel to be a big part of the story. He's really just Kahlee's most trusted friend and colleague, and he is mainly seen through her eyes. He is a badass though, and I for one would LOVE to see him and Kahlee (and Gillian) in ME3. But I don't think he'd make a good s/s LI for Shepard though, because I don't think Shepard is Hendel's type.

Matriarch Siansonea has spoken! o.o

So Sian (can I call you that?), I know you've probably stated them heaps before but for the sake of some topicicity, what are your personal hopes out of the existing cast for s/s romance? and why?

I remember we were only shown how to put the condom on. So if you ever hook up with someone from New York and he's having trouble with the condom - you know why. Come to think of it - they never distributed them.

I do recall my teacher showing different flavor condoms.

Hahah ya most of my sex ed was about contraceptives and ways to combat STDs. That didn't stop other, more detailed questions from arising though. And my teacher eagerly answered all of them in a very mature manner. Even my Bio teacher got her fair share of sex questions. She was no less open with them than my health teacher.

Shepard needs to be rejected, badly. I'm all for Aria as a squadmate, permanent or temporary but to those who say Shepard should be able to romance her (either gender) I say, Aria wouldn't even consider it, she would shoot Shepard down, fast and hard.
