There are no Reapers, Krogans, Turians, Assari and Geth in real life.....but you play the game with all these characters.now add one more.....A GAY PERSON....now play the game and leave us alone. Stop making such a big deal out of being gay, we are here, don't like it, don't play as one. I wish all of life's problems were so simple to solve.

Sadly, the only romance information that Bioware has given us regarding individual characters is that there will be NO KROGAN LOVE! My hopes for the omnisexual Wreav have been dashed! I no longer have will to live, and I'm cancelling my preorder!

If they do give us the DA2-style "heart" icons, I want to option to flirt with every Krogan Shepard runs into.

Seriously, though, I see a s/s Kaidan being more romantic and serious, while I see a s/s Ashley being more of a sudden fling that may or may not become more meaningful.

Wild guess is that Vega loves listening to Bette Middler by the fire and "the Vigilante" is the illegitimate daughter of Zevran and Isabela.

Nobody has confirmed the number of characters avaialble for any romance, or even the number of characters in the squad. 

Nor have Bioware confirmed any previous characters available for romance, s/s or otherwise. We know s/s will feature in some way, but we don't know the form, type or number of options. 

And the argument for Kaidan as s/s relies on two second-hand accounts of the voice actor responding to a fan question. It's plausible, even probable, but not confirmed. 

I hate to sound pessimistic, but I wouldn't be making any sort of speculation (let alone 'X is practically confirmed for s/s') without something from Bioware themselves. 

That might be a long time coming, but it's honestly better than building up false hope - or starting inaccurate rumours - by making assumptions with virtually no information. 

 - regarding previous characters open to s/s : As w/ the other LI's, specifying who, why, and how spoils the value of the storyline. We want you to discover for yourself.

if CHud says that to have us discover there won't be any at all once the game comes out i'll j/o in his tea cups. ;p

Maybe they could just give us a Fable-style "flirt" button that we can spam wherever we go.

Maybe they should include the "passing gas" pose too for those renegade situations? It could come in handy during the military tribunal at the beginning of the game, or in giving the Turian counselor some new air to quote.

So I haven't really been following the 300+ pages of discussion that closely, but maybe someone can answer the following for me.  Does anyone actually care if Kaidan is revealed to be bi in ME3?  I've seen a lot of people stating that they don't want to see Garrus as a M/M option because it'll "ruin" their bromance, but I haven't really seen much ado about Kaidan, other than complaints from people who are dead set against M/M romances in general.

I honestly wouldn't give a crap if Kaidan was a m/m option in the third game, but I wouldn't be happy if there was no non-human m/m option, my manShep is interested in first contact of another sort

Shepard wants him some Turian for sure but you are kidding yourself if you think Garrus would be his first.
