To be fair, after ME2 came out, that was all people talked about. Now everyone is over it.

And people have been fighting about s/s romance since the old ME1 days. They are clearly NOT over that issue. 

If you havent noticed, thats a big issue in society.

person A wants Tali, Kasumi, and Garrus only to be bi

person B only wants Kasumi

Person C wants Kaiden and Ash

Person D wants Ash and Garrus

Person E wants Grunt, Zeed, and so on

so in the end everyone has been tossed up that someone wants them to be bi ergo everyone gets made bi sense BW won't risk picking only Zeed, Kasumi, and Miranda for s/s options because all the people who wanted everyone else will rage I didn't get my selection and they did!

This is another reason why for s/s only new squad characters is simplistic and a better choice.

Yet another reason why Tali shouldn't have been made a LI for ME2 since some people wanted Chakwas instead and were raging "why Tali and not Chakwas? Why Garrus and not Joker?".

It is NOT a dating simulator. It is an epic love story starring Garrus and when I get done with him he will be try-sexual and willing to try anything.

Solid Logic.  Since BioWAre doesn't want to ****** off Chakwas fans, Tali should never had been an LI.  Those poor Chakwas fans, forced to have Tali as an option....

In DA2 every LI was throwing themselves at me for being nice, if im curious about a characters backstory, the next time we talked they were flirting with me.  One arguement is that "characters will be straight or gay depending one how you play"  I played a male hawk and all the males in the game, (besides the dwarf) were coming out the closet.  If they are going to make it so that characters change their sexual preference depending on your shep, they need to make it so that this things are harder to "open up"  Am I wrong for not wanting every male character in my game to be gay?

[/quote]both anders and fenris hit on you if you're playing a straight male hawke. i remember both instances, you lose friendship with anders when you turn him down, but turning down fenris doesnt effect friendship/rivalry at all. but yes, they both certainly hit on you.

There is only ONE scene with Anders, and considering the situation both he and Hawke were in, it made perfect sense for Anders to assume Hawke was interested if he was illogically nice instead of snarky or angry. It is one of the most realistic scenes in the game given your dialog choice. Isabela flirts with everyone but doesn't sleep with you unless you romance her. Actually starting a romance required the player to choose those incredibly hard to miss, giant, pink heart icon dialog options. I'm beginning to wonder if you are trolling, confused, or merely relaying faulty second hand information from raging forum posts.

No they both initiates flirting with the PC, and all the LI were flirting with me, therefore my party consisted of two gay guys, a ugly elf, a dwarf, and the infamous isabella.  If the  romances are restricted to the party memebers, there is nothing wrong with Bi options  if you can "mold" your characters to be gay, I should be able to "mold" mine to be straight.  This was not the case in DA2 as all the males in my game were gay. (not counting the dwarf) Thats only fair right?

I don't know about Fenris. He says something complimentary maybe, but the onus is on you to hit that heart. I remember the exact moment to which you're referring, though I don't remember his exact words, but it didn't seem like he was hitting on Hawke at all.

Apparently complimenting a man while not crushing a beer can on your forehead is now considered "gay." Perhaps Fenris should belch more often and use "..., bro!" after every line of dialog directed at another male character.

Next time try harder not to click the heart icon and Fenris will not flirt with you.  You can treat him like a straight `bro` if you want.  Varric, Carver (duh!) and Sebastian do not flirt with and are not available to the male PC.   More `bro`s for you to befriend.  So please don`t scream that you`re being surrounded by gay men in DA2. 

What exactly are you asking for..  Fewer than 2 LI choices is no choice at all.

im not belittling anyone. im just disagreeing.
and im not largely against joker as an option. like i said,it'd be weird and i cant really picture it being done well, but im not against it.

this is the most widely effecting issue though. it snot just a single character its effecting. hence why commenting here is more worthwhile than saying anything in another thread. and this is the thing thats actually going to effect ME3. i HIGHLY doubt there would ever actually be a joker romance
