You have no idea how much I approve of Shepard's emotional armour starting to crack under the weight of events. One quick moment in LotSB amidst a sea of knuckle-cracking, hoo-ah!, macho marine show-no-weakness'ing wasn't really enough. My Shepard is a bottled up emotional wreck under her calm expression by this point. Being able to portray that in one sense or another sounds superb..

I am looking forward to this also.  It's one of the many reasons I didn't really care for Arrival.  One of my Shepards, Ellery is absolutely gutted at what she's just done to the batarians.  She's got the Colonist backstory and mostly Paragon.  She's worked really hard to not become a person of hatred and vengeance after her family was killed and now she's feeling like a total terrorist.  This Shepard is also extremely professional and sort of reserved and reticent.  She hasn't romanced anyone yet because of her extreme ethical dedication.  Her views on fraternization are quite rigid though I imagine with the galaxy at stake she's more likely to change (especially now with more romance options...no more forever alone for her  ^_^).  This is also my Shepard that is secretly in love with Miranda.

Ellery's also a relatively dedicated marine but unlike my other Shepards, she's the one who could have seen  her life going a completely different route if her home hadn't been raided.  Sometimes she really regrets joining up, I think.

S/s fans can rejoice as Liara is FINALLY going to be a female s/s LI. As a result she will now wear high heels and have a camera parked behind her butt in all conversations with Shepard.

Liara should be the "other" option. If she takes up the spot of another potential f/f romance I will rampage and murder some cats.

No chance Liara will be the only female s/s LI. AT LEAST one more, Ash or new female will be available.

I would love it if Jack was Romanceable for FemSHEP.
Seeing she admitted to having been in a Lesbian relationship before.

I do wonder about Kelly. I think many players assume that she is a LI "place holder," and I'm not sure if that is what Bioware considers her. If she is just an "Easter Egg" lover, I wonder if there will be a similar one in ME3.

Does anyone know if Liara mentions Kelly if a LI Shepard does LotSB after Kelly does her dance routine? That could be an indication on whether or not the Kelly relationship will be recognized in ME3.

As far as I know she does not but there was an article (whos link I'm trying to find) where Silverman mentions continuing your romance with Kelly in ME3...

That's old romance. I said Liara because most likely she will be available for a completly new romance along with a continuation of the old one.

Is it wrong that I kind of think Kaidan and Ashley are two of the least plausible bisexual characters? Garrus is alien enough that his attraction to Shepard is already based on something primarily other than looks, Tali has the nervous suit conversation with Shepard, Jack's definitely slept with women before... I suppose Thane and Miranda have no direct hints either, though.

Depending how it's handled, s/s with any of those characters can be great, okay, tolerable, or horrible. As I mentioned before, I don't think Jack is "automatically" s/s, Jack mentions her s/s relationships in context of being used by others or using her sexuality as currency.

I wouldn't say it's automatic, and I have no issues with anyone being bi, but if they're going by previous character history, Kaidan and Ashley will be hard to link into.

They act equally dumb for both Shepards, I'll give them that much.

Mostly Kaidan. Horizon is the main reason I kill him, because at least Ashley feels in-character...

If they make Jack a s/s LI, that would be fine with me depending on how it's handled. I just say "automatic" in the sense that I have read statements from Jack fans that Jack MUST be a s/s LI and that there is no good reason for her not to be one.

If you listened to what Kaidan has to say in ME1, you would know his flip out on Horizon is perfectly in-character :)

I'll give it a shot on my current playthrough. Listen to what, exactly?

Jack explicitly says she is not attracted to other women if you are a femshep and keep pushing conversations with her.
I already considered the option where she could be lying, but I don't know why she would have.

To me, Jack must not be ******, bi, etc.

Actually, she says she's "not into the whole girls' club thing." I interpreted it as her not wanting to engage in "girl talk" or some such. It wasn't explicit regardless.

His story, especially Vyrnnus part. He doesn't snap easily, but when he does, it's major. It's a ticking bomb effect. Ash doesn't hold any of her emotions and always says what she wants, you could say "she's always a bit pissed". But that allows her to maintain constant, healthy level of emotions-venting. Kaidan's always trying to keep calm and whatnot, after what happened in his youth. That makes the emotions & feelings build inside him to a point that when he actually vents them, it's much worse than in Ash case. That's what Rahna (the girl from Jump Zero) was scared of after he killed Vyrnnus and why she didn't want to be involved with him anymore.

Ah, that'd do it.

That makes sense, though he still seems to try to still be restraining himself, so he hasn't gone totally over the edge yet. But it does make things make a bit more sense.

I'm still not totally sure where the bisexuality comes in, but I honestly wish you luck in getting a gay human lover who isn't the priiiize.

Poor Kaidan, it's not healthy to do that with your emotions, he needs time alone with Shepard in ME3 to help him with his emotions.

I would like the s/s romances to be handled like Jacob and Garrus's romances. Where the romance only becomes available if your character expresses interest. That way it wouldn't be forced on anyone who didn't want to romance the s/s romance characters. But people who want to romance the s/s options would be allowed to and that way everyone is happy. That's just my two cents though take it as you will.

Minus the part where Shepard purrs like a cat in heat, if possible.

Yeah I didn't like that either. It sounded like she just wanted to jump right on Jacob and.......well.........nevermind you know what I mean...

Male SHEPARD: [Purring] So, Wrex, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind... planning some future battle strategies for a bit.

WREX: Can this wait, Shepard? I'm kind of busy here.
