*Experience of cleaning women's restrooms for a number of years speaking. Of course, I'm of the opinion that every building should have a complete seperate room for each person in the facility. Yes, that means if a building can hold up to a thousand people, I want a thousand bathrooms.
I'm inclined to agree, if only for the fact that every time I need to use the bathroom at work it feel like it's "**** o'clock" and EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE BUILDING needs to use the bathroom at the same time.
That said, I went to a college that had co-ed bathrooms (which included showers, private though they were) and it wasn't bad. It did take some getting used to. The guys, for example, were told to remember to close the stall doors if they were just going #1, since obviously girls aren't used to peeing without a barrier between them.
