Side question:
How do you use a different picture as your avatar?
By that I mean one that isn't in the BW set ones, as many of you have done.

I always considered Kelly to be a little something on the side for players who wanted to remain loyal to their ME1 LI and still play around in ME2. My suspicion was strengthened when I purposely had an affair with her and then played LotSB and confirmed that Kelly is the one person you can sex without Liara snapping at you.
Still, considering you have to be a single Shep to get her private dance at the end, I don't see her as just a side thing.
And awesome Sunnie.
I agree about Sunnie's picture.
As for Kelly, maybe if you have a ME2 LI you can't get Kelly, but if you are "loyal" to the ME1 LI she will be available. Of course, the way that the ME1 LIs are handled in ME2, I suppose Bioware has forced Shepard to "break up" and it's up to us to repair it in ME3, so maybe my Shepard was TECHNICALLY single.

Well, I was referring to the private dance after the suicide mission. You can romance her all the way till the end regardless of whether you have a LI or not, but only if you have no active LI (and that includes the ME1 LIs, as I found out on my Liara romance run) will you get the private dance.

@ Zjarcal -- Not that I really care that much for Kelly anyway, but I had not problem getting that Easter Egg dance. Maybe it was a bug that has been fixed now, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
Eh, I wasn't arguing about whether you care for her or not (it's clear you don't), I was just clarifying that.

I know you probably don't care, but I have something to say. Recent events in my life have substantially changed the way I see things, homosexuality included. I'm sorry for being an ass in the past,it shouldn't matter what sex you are as long as you love each other. But understand me,I'm still not 100% comfortable with it,but please give me time and I'm sure I'll get there. Anyway,I also wanted to apologise to anyone I might have offended and let me say something I should have said a long time ago: congratulations people!
I've been there. My house had healthy doses of machismo and conservative values, and fifteen to twenty years ago I would be making fun of f-deleted and d-deleted who wanted to "ruin" my totally bro-centric video game with a bunch of "politically correct stuff nobody wants to see anyway." Hell, as some of you may have noticed I can get pretty long winded and I would have probably given Recon Team a run for his money.
And even though I am a lot more open minded now a days, I still screw up on occassion.

Kelly is... Kelly. I have never given her much thought. It would be incredible if she showed up as some sort of super-badass, though.
My assumption is that any character that could die in ME2 will have more of a side mission/minor role in ME3, as it's a lot of financial investment for a character that won't be in a significant percentage of playthroughs. Kelly, being pretty much the easiest person to lose in ME2, I'm guessing will have a Zevran/Alistair DA2 sized cameo in ME3, and it won't be plot-critical.

I think we do care. And I don't think thank you quite conveys what reading this means to... well, I'm tempted to say 'us' but I don't want to put words into other people's mouths so I'll just say me. But, even so, thank you. I'm grateful to you for taking the time to write and post that.
