I think everyone hopes for good implementation of any romance, it's only natural. I trust BW in this regard, Tali romance was well written in ME2 despite the fact there was not a single sign of it in ME1 so that gives me alot of confidence in their writingkhevan wrote...
See my above reply. I'm not actively against s/s VS romance, I just don't want it to be poorly implemented, and I can see it being handled well. Hell, I may just make a femShep to romance Ash in ME3, and a maleShep to romance Kaidan. That is, if the VS are, indeed, opened up. Well, time to head to work.
Have fun storming the castle!

I want it to be Big Ben.
Maybe James Vega?

Question. Didn't they say the London CGI trailer was just to show a recognizable Earth location? Couldn't that mean Big Ben won't even be a squad member? :/
Yeah, I always assumed he wouldn't be.

Hopefully Bioware makes half the crew bi and the other half straight. It seems lazy to make every character so agreeable
They are already quite agreeable...not caring about morality or anything Shepard does....not caring about appearance, personal history, etc.

Unless Vega has Big Ben's accent he'll always take a backseat in my preference list.

So straight people get access to everyone they'll want while gay people get access to half.
Yeah that's real non-lazy.
It could at last be half gay and half straight. That way everyone gets equal restrictions.

Indeed. I'm amazed that xenophobe Shepards can romance the aliens.

Also i think that for same sex options there should be some specified characters about that.
Because so far there was Liara, and Kelly, they were the bysexuals and just that. There were no gay NPCs so far.
So if there are gay characters to show up, they should be put separately. Or at least be very specified.
Or else, having the characters and plot so far designed, everyone would turn out to be bysexual.
That's not normal or fair from a point of view. Characters should be special, each of them with their own story to tell, their own past and backrounds.
That's my opinion anyway.
I'm not gay but i don't mind people to have the choices they like. I just want the game to be well balanced.

Why not keep all previous characters the 'way' they are and add a few gay characters in? Making half the characters 'bi', if that, is just pander. Make some options unavailable to the each of the sexes.
It makes the game seem less like a dramatic sci-fi porno.

I wouldn't put it pass me to do a new Shepard after completing ME3 for the umpth time. I did it a few times after playing ME2.

Why not. FemShep's attempts are doomed from the start, James doesn't do chicks hehehe. But if not him then would be good to be able to pick up an exclusive m/m male squaddie somewhere at the beginning of the game. Maybe at some bar or adult shop on Illium or Omega

Why would it seem like that when these romances (and how many you pursue) are optional?

And since they sprung this on us I would really like to be able to change genders at the creation screen so Drag Shepard can become a man.

If such ideas would be developed, the dialogues should be very carefully designed.

Characters can be bisexual and still be special, being bisexual doesn't automatically mean that a character is less interesting. Granted, if a character is bisexual, that becomes a story point, and it should be explored as a story point. But good writing is good writing, and the romance storyline isn't just about sex. Heck, in some cases it probably isn't about sex very much at all. It's about two people who come together at the end of the world/galaxy, and how their lives are made more meaningful by virtue of this connection they share at such a tumultuous time. Sex really isn't the point as far as I'm concerned.

This is more than likely what will happen anyway. All talk of existing characters as s/s LIs is pure speculation at this point, and there is every indication that there will be new characters as LI options, if Casey Hudson's twitter feed (our main source of information) is to be believed (and it is).

Plus, I'm not that selfish. I can share
