Erm, no. This thread, or something like it with the same name, has been running for over a year. It's the least inflammatory s/s thread we've seen on the forums. 

Far less so than "OMG BIOWARE IF YOU DO S/S DON'T MAEK THEM ALL BI!!1"

IF they do make all squaddies SS-romanceable that is fine by me, but I wish they could make it retroactive so to speak. As an example, if Tali is an SS option in ME3 it will make me sad that she isn't in 1 & 2.. continuity issue mainly.

Broken continuity like that ruins immersion for me, and an RPG without immersion is nothing.

If Tali (or anyone) is made a same-sex love-interest in ME3, I am positive that there will be an in-game reason from the character him or herself explaning exactly why he or she did not express an interest in Shepard until the eleventh hour. This reason may not completely satisfy every single gamer on the planet, and I'm sure that many people will still be screeching "THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH, IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, RETCON!" but it will be in there.

Broken continuity like that ruins immersion for me, and an RPG without immersion is nothing.

I swear, after ME3 comes out, I never want to hear the word "immersion" ever again. <_<

S/S is long in the game, for girls. No point of discussing it. Male/male,  bestiality and other things arent, thats what this thread is about. "Bioware if you do s/s" is already false information, S/S is in the game. What is meant is "omg bioware if you do m/m". Like said, at least be honest to yourself.

It might not be lesser b/c it wasn't started until ME3...sometimes these things take time.  I personally think the ME2 Tali romance was kind of bad (it focused on how they could sex each other up almost entirely) and if they do something different for a possible ME3 Tali romance with FemShep, I think that would be an improvement.

I'm not sure how it's breaking continuity either.

Tali (or Garrus) wasn't a romance option at all in ME1 then became one in ME2.  Shepard didn't work for Cerberus in ME1 (they were 'teh bad guys' even) but did in ME2.

I am the opposite I have not got one shepard who is male that has liara as his li only fem sheps I just think she fits better with femshep

fact is while I have been posting in here there has been next to no flames till you got here till then it has been a discusion thread

Exactly. By including f/f, you are entering foreign territory. People could visit this for f/f, but see m/m.
 Keep it to m/m and noone will care. There are a lot of separate discussion groups, and they all are perfectly fine. Including "Gay Warden". And i assure you its not because of some hidden agenda or imaginary "hate".

I don't think it's your place to say what should be included in this thread. Sure, you can have your opinion, but don't go telling others how to run a thread. The whole issue was that romances within the game weren't treated equally. i.e, there were het romances and lesbian romances (however debatable that might be) but there weren't gay male romances. So, the two are linked. There's also the fact that some don't see the FemShep/Liara romance as a lesbian one (not my opinion on it, might I add) so people have been wanting a more clear cut lesbian romance in the game too. Therefore, I think it quite reasonable to include both orientations within this thread.
