But I'd love something similar with other characters. It was deliciously awkward.

I believe IsaacShep the King of Kaidan Groupies posted it about a thousand pages ago. If he sees this comment I am sure he will repost it.

(Come on, we can get half a year of nitpicking and obsessing out of this stuff, easy. What else are we supposed to do with the wait?)

You know, I wonder about that. What it all added up to in the end was that he'd recorded lines for s/s Shepmance, but we can't be certain those lines will be used in the game (odds are damn high though, if you ask me). So... what does that mean? That he recorded a few of the same lines twice, once with each pronoun? Would that stick out as "s/s lines"? Or does he mean actual separate lines, like say Isabela's "my curiosity is sated"/"if you ever want to do that again" for m!Hawke and f!Hawke respectively?

I don't think he'd recorded any lines for ME3 at that stage - voice acting only started later, I believe (and as late as last week Martin Sheen hadn't even done his for The Illusive Man).
It seemed more to me that he was recalling that he'd read/heard something from Bioware about the s/s lines - perhaps as specific as "Kaidan is an option" or more generally "there will be options". It's hard to tell.
To my mind it's not exactly hugely persuasive evidence, but combined with a half dozen other little tidbits (and tweets) I'd be fairly confident that he and Ashley will be options.

We don't know, he didn't go into any specifics. Personally, I expect the dialogues will be different, I mean, I can't phantom how could they be the same when the situations are so different. Kaidan/FemShep -> had sex and all the pre-sex chit/chat, expressed their interest in each other, had "I love(ed) you" moment on Horizon and email exchange after that. Kaidan/ManShep never had anything like that, not even flirting. Granted, Horizon may have easily been a clear exposure of Kaidan's feelings towards ManShep, but with all the other different events (or lack of them), it's just impossible IMO to write the same dialogues for o/s and s/s Kaidan (and Ash) romance.Quething wrote...

He did actually. He started early June/late May as he told the people at the Comic Expo (where he also told them about gay romance) that he already finished his first recording session at that time. Of course Kaidan's role in the game will be huge so he's been recording ever since then, as far as we know he's still not finished even though it's been already 4 months.ElitePinecone wrote...

My mistake. :innocent:
That's interesting, they started Hale/Meer and the squadmates very early but left TIM so late...
Perhaps Sbarge's Normandy/LI conversations were later, I did remember reading Mac Walters wrote most of the romances through July-August. I think Patrick Weekes might be helping out with some new characters too.

After bouncing back and forth between this thread and the one for Kaidan I knew it would only be a matter of time.
Does that mean I'm indoctrinated?

My excitement for TOR mostly died when they announced Revan book which is basically KOTOR 3 I hoped for years and thought TOR will incorporate.MageTarot wrote...
Well, it's official - I've become more psyched about ME3's release than I am for SWTOR's.

Hm...I dunno. To me that doesn't really fit the professional aura of my Shepard. As long as we have a "keep it professional." dialogue choice I'll be good though.
JOKER: So, [Ryzaki's] Shepard! I hear that you and Legion have been spending some "quality" time together...
[Ryzaki's] SHEPARD: Keep it professional, Joker! And while you are at it email the VS and remind him/her how much contempt I am going to show them in this game!
You know me too well.

I really hope you're right. I also hope that if you pursue a romance with Kaidan for the first time in me3, it'll be different depending on whether you're a fem or mShep. There could be players that had their femShep be with Liara in me1 but want to get with Kaidan in me3.
Oh, also a question. If you're a femShep and don't romance Kaidan in the first game, does he say the whole 'losing you was like losing a limb' to femshep as well? That's probably the case but I haven't checked. It would have been so awesome if he only said that to mShep
