Sadly, the only LI Bioware has confirmed is that there will be no Krogan love in ME3. Bastards.

If Asari can mate with Krogan, as squishy as they are, humans can do Krogran with no repercussions.
Asari don't require physical contact to mate. It's just a bonus

Count me out XD. I already don't understand how sex with a turian would work, let alone a krogan XD
Human on top probably, Mordin likely has a list of positions comfortable for both species.

Telepathy requires that Krogans have a mind to begin with. I'm surprised Asari CAN mate with Krogan.

Yes but...have you seen the lower area of a turian? There's nothing there...I'm thinking too much about this

How do we know their genetalia are in the lower area?

random message.
and I don't care if S/S happens in ME3, just don't do it like in DA2 where anders just asks you right away.

I have no problems with the Anders situation since the only way to trigger it was to role playing Hawke as a super nice guy/gal who didn't mind that he led them into an ambush where they were forced to KILL TEMPLARS IN THE CHANTRY! And wow, Hawk thought Anders was such a sweet little abomination. If I was Anders, I would have assumed that Hawke was hitting on me, too.
And his over-reaction to being rejected was totally keeping with the character's fragile emotional state throughout DA2.
I doubt any of the previous LIs will overtly hit on Shepard IF IF IF they are available for s/s in ME3.
As for the new characters, I say let them flirt if that's in their character, but I doubt we're going to get a Zevran or Isabela bisexual LI.

Hey, man. Krogans are capable of calculus.
But only while they're having sex. You have to be with all those multiple backups of sexual organs.

If the new s/s characters flirt with Shepard then you'll have thousands of people complaining about it because they can't handle someone of the same sex hitting on them even if you can just ignore it and move on. It's safer to have romances start only by the player.
Anders flirting with Hawke seemed in character. To me he was attracted to the person Hawke was, not his/her sex (since he flirts with both male and female Hawke).

Look at the entire BSN network. Hell, look at EVERY site dedicated to any video game. There are people ****ing about EVERYTHING!

Agree, and every indication Bioware have given is that they're doing romances in ME3 in this way - reactive to player choices and dependant upon the player to initiate them.
It's the best way to do it with a minimum of fuss or conceited outrage, in my opinion. Of course, that won't stop the complaining from some people.

Agreed.
There are always going to be people that whine about it. But now at least they won't be able to complain about s/s romances starting by mistake or being too much 'in their face'.
I'm also glad that the flirting will be player initiated. Though I like characters that are flirty with everyone (ex: Zevran), I can finally be a proper paragon without starting a romance with everyone without meaning to XDD

Of course, if the plan is to avoid triggering foaming-at-the-mouth whining via having it entirely player induced, I'd consider that a mission which is doomed from the start.

Probably. But it's a small concession to make to avoid all the unnecessary additional faux-outrage.
There are always going to be people who simply can't accept s/s and will moan about it unconditionally. Some might even froth about it, as self-appointed harbingers of moral decline (oh, that evil video games agenda!).
But a significant amount of posters (at least on this board) are fine with s/s, or at least say they are, with the caveat "I don't want characters hitting on me".
Considering how annoying unnecessary advances are regardless of orientation or gender (wading through 9 women as maleShep comes to mind), and how much even we talk about ninjamancing as a bad thing, I don't think it's unreasonable for Bioware to make all romances player-initiated - as they seem to be planning.
It cuts down on a large segment of complaints (even David Gaider has conceded he probably wouldn't make the Anders advance if he were writing DA2 again, given the controversy it caused) and I just don't think Bioware should 'die in the trenches' to defend what is often an annoying romance system, and one that has caused a lot of confusion and unnecessary angst.

That makes me indescribably sad to hear.
