I think what I prefer is multiple relationship paths with NPCs (romances or no). That's what DA2 did right, IMO. It doesn't have to be along the lines of 'friend/rival' though.

I would agree with this, it just doesn't need to have a visible mechanic. Like in ME1, regardless of gender, saying the "Out of Line" choice to Ashley will make her clam up and be less open in future dialogues (or, at least, thats how it looked like to me.)

Nevermind.Keep on twisting and bending that logic to make it work.

tali could also be hero worshiping tho altho making her bi would be the first interesting thing about her(to me that is)

I never said Talis body language indicated her secret crush on Shepard. Even if that would be the case it doesn't have to be the only indicator. And, I know I repeat myself, the point of a secret crush is that it is kept SECRET. Liara didn't keep her crush secret at all.

I'm done. If the s/s romances have "hidden crushes" it'll probably be just as contrived as Tali's.

The only REAL TRUTH in the Mass Effect universe is that EVERYBODY wants him/herself some Commander Shepard. Conrad Vernor just happens to be the only one who blatantly expresses his desires openly.

Ashley: "I'm not gay, I'm just Shepard-Sexual."

Even though I kid, it would be funny so see a reference to that trope.

@ The arguing Tali fans -- Tali's crush was pretty believable for me, the only part that made me face-palm was when she and Shepard appear to be going "all the way," and she only gets a head-cold. For two game we've heard how Quarians go ape-**** over the tiniest exposure to anyone else's cooties, but having sex is no big deal. Just slap on some magic Mordin ointment. Whatever.

This is my chief argument for Jokermance.

Gosh, can you imagine Seth Green voice-acting bisexual Joker? Finally showing everyone the not-so-defensive side of his character? It would be glorious.

That kinda bothered me. In ME1 it was made very clear that the quarian immune system was weak and the enviro-suits were 24/7 manditory outside their ships (which made the flotilla visit in ME2 all the more insane as you'd think they'd make the visitors wear suits and put them through decon, but that's another rant entierly). Then, in ME 2, we get information that exposure outside their suits instead triggers an allergic reaction.

Biology fail!

Actually, the severe allergic reaction is probably the best way to describe how a body would react to an alien bacteria or virus. On earth, we are genetically related to our diseases, so the body's defenses has means to figure out it's attacker and the virus has developed ways to work around them.

If an alien virus were introduced (a situation my cousin worked on at NASA as rough plans are being established for a future Mars mission) the body would have no way of knowing what the hell it's dealing with, only that it doesn't know what it is or how to deal with it, so the body may have a severe allergic reaction. How the alien virus would react is a mystery.

I would go so far as to say that I'd like Joker to be m/m only, but that's just me.:wizard:

Both are so different yet equally amazing! Gobeur's line is esquisite, it reminds me of classy vintage detective comics while Criz-Zone's Little Bip Planet style on the characters is just impossible to dislike! :wub:Especially love the fact he put the boys in the casual hoodies, makes the pic feel so much warmer

@Siansonea IIcould you add the tweets I posted on page 40 to the first post? Would be great for quick reference. Preferrably at the bottom of the post to not clutter more important info

I added a link to your own post. ;)

In Australia (where I am), the common cold was lethal to the Aboriginal population at first...their bodies hadn't dealt with it before, it devastated them.
