Sorry, guys. I couldn't help myself. But I legit want Tali as an s/s option.

I am going to get in trouble for this, but after reading the Tali posts here I posted "Tali for f/f in ME3" in the Tali thread.

We need to invade that thread altogether. It can be our own Normandy.
While I may not respect their thread's hypocricy I will respect the moderator's wishes and leave them alone with their narrow vision since I do not want to suffer the wrath of Woo.

At least the Garrus thread flies off into discussions about turians in general every once in a while.
You know what? I feel like making an "alien culture" thread.
Anyway, seriously, I legit wouldn't mind if "they were all bi." Yeah, it's unrealistic, but if written well I won't care. And besides, just because someone looks/acts straight doesn't mean they are. Personality is not always an indicator of sexual orientation.

No, but Jacob just seemed to be the most expendable due to his lack of popularity. My apologies for any Jacob fans who do want him to be bi... I've just never seen any.liesandpropaganda wrote...

Even if one character is extremly popular it doesn't mean he's automatically extremly popular as a potential LI and vice versa.Xilizhra wrote...

I'd like to have everyone be bisexual, but the quote I mentioned would seem to rule that out.

What rules it out IMO is the time constraints. There's been too many LIs in the past game to create new romances for all of them unfortunately :/ That is of course, if we're gonna get any old LIs available...Xilizhra wrote...

I'm just hoping the new s/s options include either Ash or Tali. I can settle for just one even though both would be awesome. As for m/m, pulling for Kaidan because it would be damn heartwarming, especially after all he and Shep have been through. And also Vega, because he looks like the straightest guy on the planet. I think it'd be a healthy subversion of ye olde sterotypes if the badass, "all-American" soldier dude liked other dudes.Xilizhra wrote...

On the other hand Vega would make a good example of the manly gay trope.AdmiralCheez wrote... And also Vega, because he looks like the straightest guy on the planet. I think it'd be a healthy subversion of ye olde sterotypes if the badass, "all-American" soldier dude liked other dudes.

I think manly gay is less common. Especially if Vega is the super-patriotic, no-nonsense, ultra-badass type that usually saves the president and makes out with the hot chick at the end of a summer blockbuster.lovgreno wrote...

Just because of that Vega should be gay.AdmiralCheez wrote...

1) Asari -- Definite (Bioware will suddenly admit they are women).
2) New LI (new characters or old ones who could not be romanced before) -- Almost certain (least rage from dude-bros).
3) VS -- Highly probable (give s/s fans a three game arc and allows dude-bros to kill the gay guy in ME1).
4) Garrus, Tali and Miranda -- Possible (Garrus and Tali have been around and already "retcon" for love and Miranda was almost impossible to kill in ME2).
5) Everyone -- Unlikely.
