I know that generally spoilers aren't allowed in the General Discussion section, but sometimes people feel posting spoilers is needed to make their point. There may be times when spoilers are necessary, but an example for that escapes me at the moment.

Anyway. To post spoilers you need to make the text hidden. It's hard to do without proper spoiler tags that are marked "spoilers" like you'd see on some boards and IMDB. Using Firefox and an add-on called "Colorzilla" I was able to figure out what the background color was in the main body text section.

What you need to do is use the following: {color=rgb(50, 50, 50)} text goes here {/color}. Replace the braces { } with brackets [ ]. Put the spoiler text in place of the red "text goes here" section and you'll be good to go.

The result (please highlight next section):

Your spoiler text will be hidden from view because it will be the same color as the background. That is, until it's highlighted by anyone who wishes to read that section.

Just be sure to give your spoiler an indicator such as *Spoiler* so people know to avoid them. Enjoy.

I'm gonna edit my posts to reflect this. Can everyone who said spoilers do the same?

No but getting intimate with one would result in many stabs and cuts in various places, that carapace they have looks really pointy and sharp.

I am fine if those wanting Garrus get him, but I really want a human man for the m/m option.

I really want Joker and Garrus to be honest. My two fav guys in the ME series.

Okay, an easier way to conceal spoiler text is to write it out, then change the text colour on the options bar to the top right colour. The top right one (right hand side of a blue and above a grey).

I *do* think the VS may be an s/s option after all, not just because of the evidence we had before but also because (without spoilers) the plot includes three or four very intense moments where having a romance would add immense risk, tension and stress to the game. 

That being said, the outline said nothing about romances beyond confirming that Ashley was an option for somebody. 

None of the Normandy conversations were there, for example. 

(By the way: was anybody else kinda annoyed and baffled at how much the leaked stuff assumed Shepard was a male, and assumed the VS was Ashley? So many pronouns!)

Considering marketing Shep is male why *wouldn't* the beta assume you're playing the only Shep available?

I don't know, Horzion was still pretty intense for Shepards who didn't romance the VS, and based on Bioware's history, I wouldn't put it past them to apply the romance angle of those scenes as an afterthought... Like that little hug the VS gives a romanced Shepard versus the handshake of a non-romanced Shepard on Horzion? Totally an afterthought.

True! There's still a lot of content to be discovered in ME3, even if the general plot has been outlined. As far as romances go, everything is still fair game.

Not really. Male Shepard with Ashley as the VS was the default in the leaked beta, so it was bound to be the default in the leaked script as well.

Not really. Mass Effect's marketing has always featured Sheploo, and the default choice for the VS is always the opposite gender. The first game really tried to set you up to take the human LI.

Quite relevant to the VS discussion that was going on.

I went through the leaked file again, and it seems the confrontation with Kei Leng has at least three versions, all of them contradictory. In two of them, the choice that was offered isn't there.

Details are here (SPOILERS!)

Apart from obviously indicating that this file contains multiple revisions of the script, (SPOILERS) 'it could be an indication that the confrontation scene with the VS, and the forced decision between the VS and Liara, won't be in the final game. Or perhaps the other two scenes were the originals, and the VS confrontation + decision is the real one.

Food for thought in any case. I wouldn't really expect anything either way, I'm sure Bioware will want to change some of those pivotal emotional moments so that people aren't spoiled.

Actually, I <3 Garrus. I just don't want him as the M/M romance option. It's a personal thing, really: I've always seen Garrus as my cannon manSheps close friend and nothing more. Same for Liara if my manShep was straight.

I just found out about these spoilers and read them. I honestly didn't read anything I didn't knew already, and the things I didn't, I didn't understand them because of the lack of context. And nothing about romances?! F*****g unbelievable!

Garrus/anyone is gross from my pov. I like him as a partner, just not that kind of partner. I'd rather Feron or even Wrex instead.

I just preordered Skyrim (and I still get the map edition), so won't have any time to worry about ME3 s/s romances for a while. I'm afraid my wife's gonna find a meantime-lover whislt I frantically play from this 11/11th on...
