Vega's also an option though! Might be s/s male Sheps get pilot dude and Vega and s/s fems get civilan chick and Liara. That way there's an equal amount of s/s romance options (well compared to each other not compared to m/f romances)  

Seems fair to me.

Same sex romance spoilers

Steve Cortez is a romance option. He's the team's shuttle pilot. He had a husband (in other words, gay marriage) named Robert who died in war. He is almost for certain exclusively gay.

Samantha Traynor is a "specialist." Not sure for what exactly. Possibly an engineer.
She is almost for certain exclusively gay.

Notice Steve & Samantha = S/S. Same sex.

Well, we don't really know how those characters are really like, so it seems too early to judge and be disappointed, imo.
And, I have no idea if they're going to make the VS or Vega S/S. There's SOME hinting towards Kaidan being possibly S/S, but it's far from conclusive.

Being disappointed by only one option each seems entirely fair to me at this point, actually.

I, too, damn well hope those aren't our only choices. It doesn't matter if they're the most awesome characters in the history of gaming with the best, most well-developed storylines of anyone in the whole ME franchise.

Not sure how I feel about the idea that they might be exclusively gay, either.

It's not, trust me. The romances are far more heartfelt and meaningful.

Considering their are scenes off the Normandy and their romances seem lengthy, thouching, and heartfelt, I'm pleased.

Perhaps they very well will be. But cann't you blame me if I will feel like gay Sheps were considered not good enough to get a romance with a squadmate romance. Sorry, but the previous two games set enough of a precedence to me me consider non-squad romances as lesser. Seriously, they create new attractive male human squadmate Vega just to make him another exclusively straight LI for FemSheps?

That would be great in a sense, but I get the feeling that...

They're adding them as EXCLUSIVELY gay so that they don't have to add any other options (i.e. make the real crew bisexual). Then again, girls still technically get three: Kelly, Liara, and Samantha, so I suppose there's a chance there'll be another M/M romance. I'm seriously starting to doubt that the other M/M romance, if any, would be Kaidan though. If they make Kaidan an S/S option then they would have to make Ashley an S/S option too or the raging would probably bring these forums down in a matter of minutes. They COULD add both, but then F/F options would be up to four and M/M only up to two, which would kind of suck. Unless they do...

Which would be more balanced and Bioware could get away with banking on the "Liara doesn't count" fiasco they've been pushing since day one.

I guess I'm being overly picky, to be honest. I didn't even expect S/S romances for ME 3, so it's nice that they're adding it all. I'm really happy about that. But just like any other romance in a Bioware game, I'll probably ignore it unless I REALLY like the character involved. Hence why my Warden stayed FOREVER ALONE since I never cared for Zevran.
