Exclusive M/M..... and F/F (Just to be fair....I guess..:P). That is all.

And since they sprung this on us I would really like to be able to change genders at the creation screen so Drag Shepard can become a man.

hmmm but that would mean there would have to be f/m only romances
i'm happy with adding s/s to people like kiaden &ash maybe miri new ones are not reallly needed remember when you see ash on horizen shes nearly crying with anger even if yuor femshep interesting methinks

I dunno, for me personally, I would cry with anger and frustration over a close friend going along with a terrorist organization like Cerberus. I wouldn't have to have romantic feelings for them in order to be extremely concerned.

anyway, despite being happy regardless of who is the bi LI for manshep, i'll state, yet again, for the record that i'd like it to be kaidan. i made a rather lengthy post in the old fftl thread about how i would love to see the character development work for such an option, and i won't repeat it all here (i've turned over a new leaf regarding brevity), but suffice to say i'd be very happy to see that happen.

A exclusive m/m male squaddie would be awesome.

Definitely would have to be someone new though.

I want it to be Big Ben. ^_^

Maybe James Vega?

Unless Vega has Big Ben's accent he'll always take a backseat in my preference list. :D

meh that accent is very common in uk

Not common where I live. ^_^

As far as I am concerned, my femShep did not romance the VS because she could not romance Ashley (except in a hacked game) and had no interest in Kaiden. Therefore neither VS had a set sexuality. They only get to romance Shepard. There is nothing other than their actions with Shepard to indicate their sexuality. There will be no change to Ashley in ME3 because I have always played her as gay. If Ashley is not available for a s/s romance in ME3, I am sure someone will find a way to hack the game again. I want Ashley.

Why not keep all previous characters the 'way' they are and add a few gay characters in? Making half the characters 'bi', if that, is just pander. Make some options unavailable to the each of the sexes.

It makes the game seem less like a dramatic sci-fi porno.

Why would it seem like that when these romances (and how many you pursue) are optional?

Everyone coming on to Shepard is comical, at best.

Plus if previous Bioware games are any indicator of how a romance arc is handled, denying or ignoring a romantic advance or romance option inevitably means that the character will be less developed than others. Shooting down someone in ME2 cut pretty much all dialogue off with that individual, making the entire character unavailable for chatter or anything else while onboard the Normandy. Boils down to sex and development, or nothing.

If Shepard is the one initiating, as I think s/he should be, then it's not an issue. (Not that I mind other NPCs approaching my PC, but I think it's an acceptable compromise.)

Also, this was a problem in ME1 and a big problem in ME2, but it was not an issue in either Dragon Age game. Plus, the developers have said on the record that friendship paths will be fully implemented for all squadmates.

But they don't usually...most of the time, the romances are player initiated.  I actually agree that it would have been ridiculous if Garrus, Thane, and Jacob all came on to my FemShep in ME2...but they didn't and I never started anything with them.

That was a problem with romance characters regardless of who they are available to.  It's not as if my FemShep got anymore dialog with Jack than did a MaleShep that turned her romance down.

This.

It's not a gay/straight/bi issue.  It's simply a romanced/not romanced one.  And it's really disingenuous to try and turn it into the latter.

So moving along.

How about s/s flings?  You known those little sidebits you could get.  Like I said in the other thread I was so sad when Gianna Parasini didn't give my FemShep a kiss.  :crying:

I can't tell you how, but I can tell you where: Not here. Or maybe you didn't read the original post? Consider this your one and only warning. Play by the rules, or play somewhere else.

Ah, well, fortunately for me it's not my job to be helpful. It's merely a hobby. So I can be quite selective about whom I am helpful toward. :bandit:

Cheesy is awesome.  Heck I always order extra cheese on my pizzas, I tell them I don't even want to be able to see the other toppings!
