Also, I think it's wishful thinking for Vega on S/S, guys. He's supposed to the "Dudebro" character and Bioware's not the type to go against tradition.  Nothing conclusive, though.

edit: Not to mention kinda of a waste of resources. Most of the posts and pics from the Vega thread are for FemShep, you know. I would imagine the vast majority of female players would play a FemShep.

Except...

- He's shown as not being very "dudebro" at all in the beta.

...and...

- If this this actually true, they're already going against tradition by including an exclusively gay male.

Which basically means he's still on the table. For now.

Could someone PM me the names of people who the spoilers might possibly suggest are s/s romances? I don't want to know the how or why just the names that have something other than wishful thinking attached to it. JUST THE NAMES!

I might be asking for something I really already have but I'm not about to go highlighting spoiler text and get something else accidentally revealed.

Bioware are still maintaining that Liara isn't female, so if they did want to ensure 'fairness' I think they would open the V/S as well. That'd be two m/m and f/f options in ME3.

Since I don't know whether Kelly is going to be a permanent Normandy crewmember (and since she could be dead in many people's saves) I don't think they'd make her a fully-fledged new romance as we've seen for the others.

Also, are people going to flip out over implied gay marriage?

There are plenty of "dudebro" gay men. You just don't notice them because unlike femmes you dont stereotype that behavior as gay.

To say that gay men can't have machismo is to make caricatures of them.

Kelly has a romance that is more meaningful than ME2.

And Vega & *spoiler* being M/M + Liara & *spoiler* being F/F means equal gay options. Doesn't have to be the VS.

Kelly is on the Citadel, not the crew, and her romance continuation seems sweet and genuine.

Elite: Good points. I wonder how this will turn out.

Best case scenario:

Three each (not including Liara). Worst case scenario, one each and not technically with the important crew members. Better than nothing I suppose, but it'd feel like a cop-out to me. Oh well, I supposed if no S/S Vega ever happens I can just make a femShep and romance him.

I'm not sure how I feel about an exclusively gay LI. The attention is nice, but I'd also like other people to enjoy whatever romance with a character.

Bioware can claim whatever they want, but Liara with female Shepard is same sex.

That's only if Bioware admits that Liara is lesbian romance with femShep, which they'll probably only ever admit if hell freezes over. Then again, they did once spend their entire time telling us that manShep was NOT gay and could NOT be gay and then backpedalled furiously, so who knows?

Well. That's... not exactly what I was hoping for. If those're the only ones available my enthusiasm regarding the inclusion of s/s romance is going to wane a little, regardless of how good they turn out to be.

If tradition holds, yes. As soon as it's directly mentioned by the character in conversation.
