No he didn't. Two different (three actually) people said he did respond yes precisely to mShep/Kaidan romance and said that to them it sounded like a confirmation of that particular romance. I'm gonna go with their version since they actually were at the Con.

Read the last of those quotes. It is nowhere near confirmed and at the time he had not recorded any lines for it, or even had a confirmation that it will be in. In fact even if he would have a confirmation he would not have been allowed to say anything about it.

I've read it many times, sticking with my version thx. I know you look for any proof VS ain't available for s/s romance, but this one ain't gonna work the best for ya.

Ehm I want Kaidan. he would be my favourite canditate as LI for my male Shepard.

But I don´t jump to conclusions and get my hopes up without some concrete evidence and that is not one since the third and most accurate description clearly shows that nothing was confirmed and an m/m romance with Kaidan.

And nothing denied. Which tells alot in itself considering how other romances left no doubt they were o/s only. I don't want to jump to conclusions either, but you're dismissing everything as a proof it won't happen. If you actually want him as an s/s LI, then you've got hella pesimistic approach.

There is no evidence that Kaidan will be an s/s romance, therefore we don't know if he will be an s/s romance. Time will tell.

I am dismissing no proof since there is none, not even in the spoilers. Though it does seem that the role of the VS got changed if you go through those files since they contain some contradictind information reagarding the VS.

What we have is some evidence but by far not enough to make a case out of it.

I learned my lesson with ME2 when I was arguing that no way the devs would be so thoughtless to put in six straight romances and additional squad romances and not make at least one of each sex bisexual.

Anyway I am supportive, I am just against counting chickens before they are hatched.

I think Chun was poking fun at Ryzaki with her Legion remark. So they're going to allow us to start a NEW romance with Liara in ME3? I'm pretty sure that means she now counts as s/s then.

She always counted. She didn't count only was when they were questioned why there're no gay male romances in ME franchise. Plus, who in the world looks and FemShep & Liara and considers it anything but a lesbian romance?

^^Which I don't understand. Just because Asari are "mono-gendered" (or whatever term they used), doesn't make them any less female. I mean, c'mon... bewbies galore.

So just to clarify, are they only adding new m/m relationship[s] (as Liara covers f/f)? Or are we still heavily in speculation mode as to what Bioware is going to do with s/s as a whole? I need to research this more, apparently. : /

We still ain't sure about lots of stuff. There are some characters we're sure gonna be available, but there are some it's impossible to guess based on the fact their dialogues lack any gender reference.
