At least we get  exclusive s/s options in me3. Which will probably start an ' angry hetro gamer' thread of somesort.

While it's not 100% confirmed that they're exclusive, because the script can always change, I think it's extremely likely.

Funny thing is though, many people who have a problem with s/s romances have suggested that they be confined to one or two exclusively gay or lesbian characters (instead of a range of LIs open to both genders), as a way of backhandedly appeasing people while not actually doing much for them. As far as I'm concerned, they'd be overjoyed that there's an exclusively gay and lesbian character in ME3.

If the same people who championed exclusive s/s characters made a fuss about them when it came time to play the game, it'd be a tad (ok, very) hypocritical.

And yes, I fully expect those sort of threads - we've seen enough of them in the past six months or more since the announcement of the inclusion of s/s. But that's Bioware's problem (or opportunity) - they've proven themselves vastly capable of schooling bigots on their own privilege in the past.

Well since Liara has been the only  f/f option so far(and there has been no m/m at all),and every other option has been hetro; they really should have no reason to complain.(but they will anyway)

That is true also. So it's been even worse for the m/m crowd.

Ah yes, "immersion". We have dismissed that claim.

I don't think Bioware wades into maelstroms by accident; and they're not so mercurial or populist to bend at the slightest backlash (because, y'know, BSN is one continuous barrage of complaining). Usually the non-bigoted anti-s/s-because-of-immersion-or-character-continuity stuff peters out when the person gives up or any one of the other half dozen reasons to support (or at least tolerate) it is made apparent.

That's not to say there won't be a metric fudge-load of whinging when the game ships, but I  think (and I hope) the company doesn't actually take much of it seriously.

Then there's always telemtry. I'd love the raw numbers of who took advantage of the s/s content in DAO and DA2; by all accounts they're... not as insignificant as even Bioware expected.

There's going to be a metric fudge-load of whining about everything when the game ships...these forums will be nothing but a whine-fest come March.  Of course, same-sex romance will be a part of that.

Right...I think Gaider even mentioned that the 'DA2 all bi experiment' was a success based on the data (so apparently a decent amount of players chose a s/s LI) so i hope they continue that trend for Dragon Age at least.

Yeah...they'd have to make bigger beds and that takes up ones and zeroes on the disk.

Speaking of which, I always wondered why Miranda's bed was so much bigger than Shepard's. Why does she need such a large bed? Especially as most of the crew are sleeping on tiny bunk beds.

That said, why does she make Shepard have sex on the cold steel floor of the engine room?

Obviously she needs to fit a lot of people on the bed at once...she's a big fan of group sex.

Very likely; the question is, is the group sex mostly with men or women?

She isn't concerned with gender but skill...she only settles for the best.
